You will quickly find that St. Johnsville is very small and that there are not many restaurants on the Main Street in downtown. This place is more like a small town bar where all the locals come to have a beer or play pool. Being a tourist and having no other option to eat you come in here and are very pleasantly surprised about the food. The menu is a bar type of food menu. But everything we had was delicious. Came here once to meet my girlfriend and there weren't many other bars to choose from. The food was great and there wasn't much of a choice for drinks but it's definitely a dive bar so that's to be expected. When we walked in the door there were a few regulars that were getting ready to compete in a wing eating contest so that provided some entertainment. Looking for a place to get a drink and some food after tying up our boat at the local marina for the night in St. Johnsville. Cosmo's was the only place open and fairly quiet when we sat down.
