The people are nice, but the food wasn't up to par at all. I suspect they are trying hard to keep it running and the quality is suffering.
I got the general tsos combo with pork fried rice an egg roll, I also got a quart of mixed steamed veggies.
The chicken was okay, seemed kind of old, or like maybe the oil wasn't hot enough. Some of the batter was falling off. And I did find some rib bones in it. The sauce was pretty good.
The steamed veggies were great.
The egg roll was okay, a little under-done.
The fried rice was big disappointment, the pork tasted funny, and there were no vegetables in it (I'm used to onion and bean sprouts).
All that and it took more than 35 minutes to be ready. But really I'd like to say that I think they can do a much better job. I blame it totally on cutting corners to help keep the place running. I'd try it again and I think it's worth a try if you haven't. I hope I get to update this review to a better one soon! Don't give up...
Read moreSorry to say, DO NOT EAT HERE. The shop is disgusting, the customer area filled with boxes and damp walls. The food was very disappointing - I've eaten Chinese all over the world, including China - and this is the worst. Chicken chow mein is ALWAYS nice fried chicken in noodles with a smokey soya based sauce. This dish was boiled cabbage and slimy boiled chicken. The noodles were "crispy chow mein" crackers in a bag. The chicken fried rice was the same slimy chicken in a weird yellow rice. I hate to leave a bad review - but seriously...
Read moreIt’s not much to look at, but great food overall and good prices. The noodles were awesome; and the General Tso’s chicken was excellent. The kids enjoyed the wonton soup and fried rice as well. The only thing we didn’t like was the hot and sour soup. It’s usually one of our favorites, but this stuff just tasted.... weird. I’m hoping it was just an aberration.
The menu was typical Chinese takeout, in a good way — lots of options. Prices very reasonable. It’s definitely not much of an eat-in place, with just one real table, but it’s...
