Boulevard Hot Bagels — Restaurant in Town of Smithtown

I’m not one to leave overtly negative reviews but this most recent experience was disgusting. My family lives in Nesconset and this used to be my go to place but there are so many better bagel places in the area now, save your time. The bacon they put in my sandwich was so burnt it ruined every thing I ate for that meal. My eggs were perfectly fine so I can’t discredit that (only reason they don’t get 1 star). The bagel was soaked in grease and the bacon was darker than a tire. I didn’t asked for black burnt bacon. I had to give it to my dog and I felt bad at first doing that. The coffee they gave us for free, I wouldn’t give it to a homeless person. It was so burnt and so old it tasted like I was drinking plastic mixed with coffee. Something needs to be done about the organization of this place. They literally have one or two people taking orders while there is a huge line and no area that people could go to where they can just pick up their order that they called in. Other bagel stores literally have a spot where you can wait if you called it in and pick it up. I don't understand what the point of calling an order in is if I have to wait in line with the rest of everybody else placing their order which takes forever anyways. When I walked in and asked where I could go to pick up my order I was ignored out right. Now you could say that they were busy and they didn't have a chance to answer but I asked one of them directly and received no answer. Writing this after my 3rd problem with this place. The morning staff is great and quick and the selection is good but the first time going here I got a sandwich to go on what seemed to be a very quiet afternoon. The young boys had no interest that I was even there and I had to step forward to place my order.The sandwich was the opposite of what I ordered. Wrong meat, wrong cheese, no dressing that I asked for. Second time and third time was this morning and last week. Same thing happened TWICE- I asked simply for eggs, spinach, spinach, hot sauce on ww wrap. The lady was kind and quick but it was clearly quick because they made me extremely undercooked eggs with a lot of hot sauce, no spinach, no cheese what so ever.
