If you used to frequent the Sundried Tomato, things have changed, such as different menu items. I called earlier today, and realized my old go to is no longer offered (my own fault for not checking the menu with the new name). I understand today was hectic with local festivities giving the restaurant more foot traffic, but the time it took to receive my order (I called it in 25 minutes ahead and waited an additional 15-20) was not acceptable. Again, I understand they were busy, but if you have seemingly new staff and are overwhelmed in the restaurant, maybe don't take over-the-phone orders. I was also quoted the wrong price, $10 difference, over the phone. When I came in one of the women working the register said I "probably heard it wrong." No, I didn't. I understand that they were overwhelmed, but don't tell people that they did something they didn't. I was told $54 and everything ended up being $64. Small potatoes, whatever. The gentleman working the pizza oven was the one who handed me my food, which was left on the back counter by one of the other people working. Maybe they saw some annoyance on my face and didn't want to bother, I can't say. But I saw that box I didn't realize was mine sit back there for at least 5 minutes until it was given to me. I looked the box over but in the large crowd and just wanting to leave I didn't realize they gave us the wrong salad. I didn't notice until I got home to sit down with family to celebrate a birthday. It was my last straw. I had cooled down on the drive home, tried to empathize with the crew working, but damn it I was upset by the whole situation. My family had been going to the Sundried Tomato for years, maybe even decades. After today, we will no longer service the Nesconset pizza & pasta. The food was decent enough, but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. The family favorite is the rigatoni rustica, and plenty of other...
Read moreI never write reviews but I feel like if they see this it may help them. I moved close by about a year ago and have ordered from here about 10x. The pizza is by far the best in the area. The service is AWFUL. They are unorganized and nobody knows what’s going on behind the counter. What’s this? Who’s is this? No system whatsoever But the main reason for my review. I’ve called in 10 orders and EVERY time it is never ready. I’ve started giving EXTRA time. Still never ready. It leads to part of an order being cold, or part not cooked enough & me waiting inside for 5-15 mins for a Togo order when I wanna go from work and...
Read moreOrder over the phone for a olive mushroom and oinion pizza. I had to repeat it 4 times because they kept saying half olives. I told them no. The whole pizza. 30 minutes I picked up pizza and half was olives. They had to make a new one while I waited for another 15 minutes. I tried to pay them but they rung me up for 4 heros garlic knots and a pizza for $84 which all I order is a pizza. Then they tried to charge me for 2 pizzas. The one they messed up and the one they remade. Food taste well but service sucks. Grown adults can't get an order right or ring up the...
