Monte’s Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Smithtown

I love Montes because it’s local and especially because they deliver to my job but the last experience I had there was less than desirable. My favorite thing to get is the buffalo chicken salad which is listed online for 13.99 however I usually order crispy chicken instead of the standard grilled. When I went to pick it up my total was 20.59. I was a little taken aback by the difference in price also because I usually never pay that amount but the girl at the counter assured that because the chicken was crispy I had to pay that much more when I never had to previously - didn’t seem right but fine I paid it. When I got to work and I opened up my $20 salad I realized I only had one tiny dressing cup for my very large salad therefore I was only able to eat about half of it anyway. Don’t know if Montes will still be our go to place......

Edit I have adjusted my review because the owner Andrew reached out to me and apologized for my experience and offered me a free salad. He spoke to the worker that made the mistake and I greatly appreciate his efforts to fix this because Montes has my favorite salads of all time and I will continue to order...

Have been a customer for quite awhile. Always went in with my 3 grandkids and ate. When the 6 year old had to use the bathroom Monte said of course. This week we went there with my grandson who is 9 years old. We spent about $30 and he had to use the bathroom very badly. The staff said customers can't use the bathroom only employees. I then asked Monte and he said new owners have bought the place and that is their rule. Thank goodness Chick fil A was near and he went in there. Now if the new owners want to continue making money I think they have to rethink their policies. If you serve food you have to let people use the bathroom, its only human. So now they lost our business and I'm sure others we feel the same way. I hate to give anyone a bad review but...

I ordered a little of everything & it all was fantastic! My mother, the "pickiest eater ever" loved everything!!! I already knew Monte's cooks up delicious appetizers & entrees. My order was delivered by a very nice guy carrying this giant box carefully. I drive it home & it wound up on the floor 1st red light (still wrapped up so it was all good). 5 stars to the delivery guy too, who should never be forgotten when it comes to tipping. He gets your food to you & not on his car floor, lol Love Monte's, thanks for my delicious...
