Lucia — Restaurant in Town of Southold

We stopped by Lucia’s on our way to Shelter Island. We had low expectations and how wrong we were! We ate the tacos con Carnitas, fried empanadas, Nachos with cheese carne asana and the Sopa de Pollo. The sopa was so incredibly good, simple homemade chicken soup with some vegetables served with a side of rice and chicken, very generous portion. The fried empanadas were crispy and not greasy. The dishes were really good and were a mix of Salvadorian, Mexican and Latin authentic home style food. Our kids loved it too and want to go back! Definitely recommend as a casual place to eat in...

I have not left much reviews but after the service here I was compelled to write one. First of all, The food we ordered took about 45 min to come out. I usually don't mind waiting but I expect my order to be right. The man at the register put in the order wrong and I was most definitely not waiting another 45min for them to correct the order. This is more of a take out rather than a restaurant. If anything, save some time and order on your phone and just take the risk of them completely messing up your order.
