Nina's Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant - Chittenango, NY — Restaurant in Town of Sullivan

My dad & I were hungry, he wanted Burger King & I wanted pizza. I called & ordered the pizza from Ninas, I said, "I want a pepperoni & olive pizza." The person on the other end said, "do you want that on the entire pizza?" & I said "yes, I want pepperoni & olives on the entire pizza." & they said, "okay it will take 20 minutes" & I said "okay".

After I hung up with Nina's, I then went to BK to pick up my dad's food first, then after I went to Ninas to pick up my pizza & they said, "They made my pizza wrong, (they put peppers on it) & I had the choice between taking the wrong one for free, or waiting for a new one at full price." I asked, "how long will the pizza take?" They answered, "8 minutes" I really didn't want peppers on my pizza, so I decided to bite the bullet & wait for the new full price one that I originally ordered despite that my dad's food was getting cold in the car.

Eventually when the pizza was finally done (I Believe It Was Longer Than 8 Minutes), I got home to find a messy unrecognizable monstrosity of a pizza in my pizza box (cheese, sauce, toppings had were all over the place, & not on the pizza, most of it had completely slipped off, even sticking to the top & side of the box). I didn't once unlevel the pizza on the entire ride home & it's a short distance from Nina's to my house. I really do like the taste of Nina's pizza, but after the experience I've had today I had to warn people in this review what they could be in for when dealing...

Am I surprised? We are just here in the summer time and have eaten here several times but usually have ordered pizza but tonight I order the special, spaghetti and meatballs. Oh my heavens. There are two Italian Restaurants I love. One in Florida, Italian Cousin in Sebastian, amazing food and here is Spaghetti Factory at Silvan Beach. Both are incredible Italian food but here we are not 2 miles from Nina’s and I have to say their spaghetti and meatballs are absolutely beyond delicious. My Mom had their cheese filled tortellini with Alfredo sauce. SUBERB ! My husband had the haddock in a marinara sauce. He loved it. Had very reasonable bottles of wine. Needless to say we have leftovers for dinner tomorrow night. Could not believe the portions My new favorite Italian restaurant. Our waiter is on the ball. Very accommodating. Service was slow but not waiter fault. Also most of food is fresh made so the wait...

Ordered a pepperoni pizza for take out, said they'd have it ready in 20 mins told em i was about an hour out so make it for an hour from then. Exactly 1 hour and 5 mins later i showed up to pick up my food, and proceeded to wait another 45 mins, they never actually made it. The next time I ordered a calzone no ricotta got given a pretzel roll. When i called with concern that I may have recieved someone else's order, I was promptly informed that a calzone without ricotta isn't a calzone and that the pretzel roll was what I meant to order ... no refund no nothing, and finally had a ninas gift certificate decided to take my folks out to dinner. Only to be told they would not accept the gift certificate because it was more than half the bill. Blown away by this I left the 50$ gift certificate one the table with two 20s and I'll never go back. You want good pizza and service go to chittenango pizza instead...
