2021 UPDATED REVIEW: My husband and I still are going to Coleens as often as we can. COVID has put a strain on everyone but Coleens is going strong! She has done her part to help people feel comfortable. Before we just showed up at her door we called to see what her policy was. She let us know that calling ahead for reservations or take out orders. We love the food and the comfort of knowing that she is willing to adapt and overcome. The food is phenomenal! She puts food together that you would not think would be a match AND THEY WORK! Her homemade unique food and breads and bagles....mouth watering! We will continue to travel over 30 minutes for her food! The menu has changed slightly since we started going but the food quality and quantity continue to shine!! 2018 Colèen's is the best experience for food. She is a one woman show. She makes her own bread and it is wonderful! Her rye bread melts in your mouth! Then there's her specialty pancakes... Amazing! To date everyone we have introduced to Colèen's has loved it, including my out of state southern family! I recommend when you check her out go with an appetite. Be sure to read the cover...
Read moreMy fiancé & I used to visit Coleens as college students, it was our special hidden gem in a sea of diners in the area - we couldn’t resist making another visit when we passed through today! Omg, everyone - stop your search and just visit! Coleens is truly phenomenal.
Fun fact - Coleens is a one woman show that’s been around for about 20 years now - she’s the greeter, the server && amazing, amazing cook. She makes the bagels, bread & everything with TLC - so much love. Be kind & call ahead, it gets so busy and a little heads up goes a long way! We love the artwork and common sense rules - Coleens is such a treasure.
Sam ordered the veggie bowl & I ordered the breakfast sandwich on her homemade everything bagel w a side of homefries. Try her homemade flavorful hot sauce! (If we could fit more food in we would’ve squeezed in the biscuits & gravy && the French toast - next time, next time!)

Read moreWhile visiting Brockport for the first time and staying for the week, spouse and I ordered breakfast at Coleen's Kitchen. I'm not normally one for homefries as they're always too thick and undercooked, but the Breakfast Poutine sounded too good to pass up. The description of the HF stated that they were unique. They did not disappoint! Sliced thin and cooked until tender, they were everything that I wish other homefries could be. Topped with cheese curds, eggs, and sausage laden gravy, they were the perfect meal to start a long day of seeing if Brockport was a village that I could call my next home. The homemade wheat toast was THICK and delicious. The blueberry pancakes? Absolutely loaded with blueberries. The prices were fair and portions more than generous. When I next come back to Brockport, Coleen's will once again be a must stop. I'm looking forward...
