JT's Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Tonawanda

JTs is alright. Pretty middle of the road experience each time. Not somewhere you would recommend to people looking for the best the city has to offer, but isn't the worst if you show up at a friend's house and they've already ordered JTs.

The Pizza: Im a simple pizza man. Large cheese n pep, typically. JTs pizza offers a decent pie. My only real complaint is the cheese just seems like it always needs a few more minutes in the oven. I've ordered it well done to try and course correct but it always seems off.

The Wings: I'm a simple wing man. Hot Wings. Boom. Done. JTs wings, sadly, leave me wishing I had just ordered a pizza. The wings are decently sized, I suppose, but they lack that classic fried crispiness and a decent coating of hot sauce. The sauce is always very liquidy and at times is just a pool at the bottom of the wing box. You can argue that because they are sauced wings they will inherently lose that fried crisp texture. But I would challenge you, that there are spots who provide both expected levels of crispiness and whose sauce sticks to the wing and bolsters the flavor of each drum/flat.

Overall, my experiences with the staff have been nothing but pleasant. Their food leaves room for improvement, in my opinion, but is not wholly...

It's a mediocre pizza place. The food was delivered fast and hot! Ordered a small basic cheese & pepperoni and Jt's Super Sampler since this was my first time ordering, wanted to get a feel of the place. The pizza was ok, no great flavors or anything that makes me want to crave it. The sampler was meh. The onion rings were way over cooked, crinkle fries were good, chicken fingers or I should say nuggets as both pieces were quite small for a Buffalo Finger.(and unfortunately online order didn't allow me to have the fingers sauced) The pizza rolls were good and the cheese sticks were bland. Now the sauces you get with the sampler, the marinara sauce was pretty good, definately wasn't the same on the pizza. The blue cheese dip, unfortunately was horrible. I'm not even sure it was blue cheese, no chunks and it reminded me of a house ranch style dip, very bland and dissapointed! Overall I really won't order from here again, maybe to try their subs to see if...

Been to JTs a few times over the last months and have a few opinions.

Firstly, the Pizza is one of the best in the North Towns as far as I am concerned. Sauce, Pepperoni and Crust are usually on point. Wings are usually not the best, but certainly average as far as takeout wings go.

Service is where I think things get a bit lost. When I called the person on the other end of the phone was pretty curt and short. Was told 30 minutes, when I showed up at 30 minutes exactly was told 5 more minutes. I could see my pizza was already done but with wings needed a few more minutes. I was given the wins 15 minutes later.

When I got home 10 minutes later the pizza was lukewarm and the crust was very thin and not what else have experienced from them in the past.
