Title: A Slice of Heaven at Macy's Place Pizzeria!
Rating: ★★★★★
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Macy's Place Pizzeria, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Nestled in the heart of the city, Macy's Place is a true gem for pizza lovers like myself. From the warm and inviting atmosphere to the mouthwatering pizzas, every aspect of this pizzeria left me thoroughly impressed.
First and foremost, the staff at Macy's Place Pizzeria were incredibly friendly and attentive. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with genuine smiles and a warm welcome. The servers were knowledgeable about the menu and took the time to answer all my questions. Their passion for pizza and dedication to customer satisfaction was evident throughout my entire visit.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the pizza! Macy's Place Pizzeria offers a diverse menu with an impressive array of specialty pizzas. Whether you're a traditionalist or an adventurous foodie, there's something for everyone. I opted for their signature "Macy's Special," which featured a delectable combination of fresh toppings, including pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, and bell peppers. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside, while maintaining a soft and chewy texture on the inside. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the generous portion size ensured I left completely satisfied.
In addition to their outstanding pizzas, Macy's Place also offers a variety of other Italian delights. Their pasta dishes are made with love and attention to detail, and the rich, homemade sauces complement the pasta perfectly. The garlic knots are a must-try, as they were warm, buttery, and seasoned to perfection.
One thing that stood out to me at Macy's Place Pizzeria was their commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients. You could taste the difference in every bite. The attention to detail in the preparation and presentation of each dish was evident, and it truly elevated the overall dining experience.
The ambiance of Macy's Place Pizzeria is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a casual lunch or a relaxed dinner with friends and family. The rustic decor and dim lighting create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that adds to the enjoyment of the meal.
Overall, I cannot recommend Macy's Place Pizzeria enough. The combination of exceptional service, delicious food, and inviting ambiance makes it a standout pizzeria in the city. Whether you're a local or a visitor, if you're craving mouthwatering pizza made with love, this is the place to go. Macy's Place Pizzeria has undoubtedly become my go-to spot for a slice of heaven, and I can't wait to return for more...
Read moreMaybe this location will settle in and be a competent, less chaotic place at some point in the future -- allegedly, they have a successful location in Cheektawaga -- but this Kenmore location right now is a hot mess.
I can afford ONE take-out meal a month, and I try to support local businesses. I gave Macy's a week to be open before I placed an online order, so they could get used to their routine. The wait time was 2 hours (from 4:15). No problem, it was a Friday nigh; I didn't mind the wait
I got to the store at 6:15, which is when I was told to get there. I could see a minimum of 6 workers out front and in the kitchen, but no one seemed to know what they were doing. The waiting area was crowded with at least a dozen people waiting for their orders.
After 10 minutes, I was finally waited on and given my order, which was missing an item. I went back to ask for it, but they could only give me half of what I had ordered (I had wanted 2 pieces of pizza for the next day; they only had one).
The fried mushrooms had a good flavor and were crisp on the outside. I didn't find the dressing for them until I had almost finished them, however.
I had ordered 20 medium wings, to eat over the next couple of days. I got 19 hot wings. They tasted good, and were crispy, but were too spicy. Also, there were no celery sticks -- the menu needs to tell you that your wings won't be accompanied by celery sticks (unlike every other wing joint in town). That was the final disappointment.
Maybe the place will figure out how to be run eventually, but it's chaos there now. The staff was very hardworking, but were obviously poorly trained. I've worked in restaurants, and that kind of frenzied atmosphere is almost always the result of...
Read moreWell the reviews are correct on the service, I just walked in trying to place a big order for close to hundred people, because I work for a dealership, was trying to have a pizza party for everybody, but as crazy as it sounds I was not greeted or even given one attempt in any way to place a order, now just to be clear, I am a very patient man, I understand in today's work field it is hard to find good people, and also due to the high demand and low staff it takes time, so I gave this small business the benefit of the doubt and gave them 15 minutes, I stood 15 minutes standing in front of the counter, and the 2 workers could clearly see me, they actually came up to the counter twice and made eye contact with me, but nothing was said no hi, we will be with you in a moment, how can i help you, or even one second, just unbelievable, I had to walk out after 15 minutes and take my business elsewhere, to the owner I just wanna say I think he needs to monitor his place of business and hire better staff, they clearly just stopped his business from earning I would say about a little over $300 for lunch period, wish I could leave a review for the food, but wasn't given the chance. Hopefully one day I will give this place a second chance if it is still...
