Possibly the worst cup of coffee yet. I had a crappy cup of hot coffee over the winter and said I wouldn't go back. However I thought it would be fair to give Spot a second chance since you shouldn't base your opinion on 1 experience. I got an ice coffee this time that was extremely disappointing. The ice coffee may have looked like ice coffee but sure didn't taste like coffee. It tasted more like crappy water. I drink my coffee black or sometimes I get a shot of espresso. My wife tried it and thought it was pretty tasteless as well and could see why I was disappointed. Needless to say the cup of coffee went from the counter to my recycle bin. When it comes down to it Starbucks is pretty much the same price but much better quality. Not to mention it is right down the street. I've had better coffee at McDonald's than I've had at Spot. However I will say Spot coffee is better...
Read moreThis was my first time at this location. There is a gazebo outside with a piano inside of it that I heard got donated.
They have a wide variety of sandwiches, omelettes, waffles, pizza (yes, I said pizza!) snacks, desserts, and oh yeah... coffee!
I had an iced caramel macchiato with almond milk and a western omelette with focaccia.
The omelette was probably the best one I've ever had, which is surprising! The focaccia just kind of fell apart.
They have free WiFi, and water. There's amble amount of seating both inside and outside, even a few comfy coaches and board games! Some of the tables are awkwardly positioned - if you had 4 people at your table, and 4 at the table next to you for example, that just wouldn't work. There isn't enough room.
There's a lot of outlets available to plug your laptop and phones into! I was definitely able to get quite a bit of...
Read moreI’ve been a spot regular for years, when living in Rochester and Buffalo. I’ve spent more on food and drinks here than prob any other coffee place. It saddens me that the dessert, food, and upkeep of location, uniformity of training on drinks is a little messy. Look at the photos from 4-6 years ago. You can see the difference in food quality. They had this great focaccia bread that they recently replaced and it’s not the same. This place was special because there didn’t seem to be shortcuts, but now I can see where they might be trying to save a dime. I still come here all the time, but I hope someone listens to these observations to sharpen up a bit. I would hate to see this local staple get too lazy...
