Tap House 66 — Restaurant in Town of Union

Definition of locals hole in the wall. They seem to have cleaned it up a little and done some minor remodeling. Decent tap selection, including some local Beer Tree.

I've been there twice now since it was 'Manley's' and had very different experiences... First time a couple years ago on a Friday night, crowd was less than ten people and a much older crowd and VERY loud for a small place with no music (so the drunk lady yelling every word in her conversation with the person next to her was less than pleasant background). Bartender was also the cook, but she seemed too busy playing with what I would assume was her kid that was running around and behind the bar to want her to also look after food, beer and other patrons so I skipped the food options. I'm not really sure what happened that people think it's cool to bring your kid to bar.

Second time (Aug '21) was MUCH better, more beer options and a good crowd with a live band. Place was seemed to have had another makeover and looked nice. I had already eaten, but lots of people were getting food and it looked pretty good and they have a nice menu. Had another super night at the Robby Jam at Taphouse 66, owned by a true gentleman in Kevin Dobransky.

The restaurant/bar has excellent food and offers a very cool bar filled with wood everywhere and a rad squared off horseshoe bar, and front room for bands to play.

Outside during great weather, Kevin has a large deck and backyard with a stage and tent set up for musical acts outside.

This Tuesday night was inside for the Jam, and packed full of fun patrons and really good local talent who came to play for Robby Jam's open mic.

If you are new to this bar I don't recommend going there as they don't take kindly to strangers. It was the worst experience that I have had in a new establishment in my entire life, the owners and staff we're very rude and seems to be very angry that we chose their Bar for a new experience.
