Wow!! First time there, and loved it!! Went in because they had bingo. Ordered food and I have to say I'm impressed. They seemed to have taken their time to get recipes just right. Got the poppy feta salad and it was perfect!!! Craisins, walnuts, apples in a spring mix and the dressing was on point!! Also got the chicken salad on croissant and I've never dared order chicken salad anywhere but I had to here. It was awesome!!! Nice chunks of chicken and just everything about it was great!!! Also had a side of Mac and cheese and it was so creamy!!! Tried the artichoke dip and that is not normally my choice of appetizer but it really was terrific! Other folks in the oart got a flat bread with chicken and cheese and it looked amazing and she said it tasted great!!! Other person got the flat bread Mediterranean salad that was perfect and one more got portobello mushroom panini and it looked amazing. Everything there was fantastic!! The mood/atmosphere was laid back, folks in my party knew a good portion of folks there including employees. So it was nice to feel like folks really cared about us. Service was wonderful, server was so sweet and refilled my water an obscene amount of times (I love water). It's hard to get my water record so many times anywhere else. I saw a concert with a local artist here last weekend, it was my first time visiting the cafe. It's really cozy inside with interesting lighting and the people that work here are really nice. Because it was Sunday they only had a limited brunch menu available, I ended up getting a chocolate chip cookie and a glass of milk while I listened to the music. The homemade cookie was amazing, they warmed it up for me and put whipped cream on top. One minor thing to mention is that due to the restaurant layout and the fact that it was January in Johnson City it was pretty chilly inside, I don't think there is much they could do about it but I would bring a jacket if you're going to come in when it's cold outside.
