Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Town of Vestal

This was my first time ever to this food chain.. let me start with THIS WONT BE MY LAST!!! I watched every sub being made had its meat and cheese freshly sliced as it was added to the sub...yes sliced for each sub In front of you!!! I watched Customer Service be right on par!! Top notched as each customer was cared for in a fast, efficient manner!! Now story time... I been searching for years for a Philly cheese steak like a dinner I enjoyed as a kid.. which burned down... never in my life had one even close to it... Today at 53 years of age... My Famous Jersey Mike Philly Cheese Steak first one I have ever had... came to be the closest in flavor to that childhood dinner one I loved so much!!! Seriously, my eyes watered, thinking of how I been searching for it and probably will be the closest I ever get... know this I also know the family that owned the dinner they always said there was no secret... just was the way it came together... I still don't buy that !!! But I am here to say.. go here!! Oh, also, their bread for their subs!!! Like fresh, soft, and tasty, only adding to the flavor and the texture of this 100% delicious AAA++ Sub I ate today... Now if only they open one in Cortland!!! And if they do I get to be the first customer!!! Thanks to the crew on shift today and their Leader.. it was a true...

The food is great but the poor service is making it tough to justify. The last two trips of the ~10 I've made aren't a big deal alone but they happened back to back so.. sigh.

Trip 1: Ordered during lunch rush so I understand that the wait for takeout will be potentially longer(though the app should also reflect that?). I arrived on time and let them know I was there to pickup. I was told it was "still being worked on". I then proceeded to stand and wait for 20 minutes. I understand being busy but I then watched multiple people enter after my pickup time, order, get food, and leave while I still waited.

Trip 2: Ordered before the dinner rush, I arrived on time and let them know I was there to pickup. I was told it was "still being worked on". I then proceeded to stand and wait for 15 minutes. Again, watched someone enter after my pickup time, order, get food, and leave while I still waited.

If this is acceptable to have your takeout orders wait while in person are prioritized, let me know and I can order elsewhere(your Upper Front location is great but...

While travelling thru NY we went out of our way to find a Jersey Mike's. This one wasnt too far out of the way. Order was taken without incident, we asked that the giant be separated for 2 people, dbl meat and cheese on rose parm. We received it in 1 bag they separated for us so we could travel. We exited and returned when we found it wasnt on rose parm bread. We received the made up order separated and we again tried to finish our journey. This time it was single meat and single cheese which was def paid for. They claimed it was double as I pointed to the flat sandwich. JM double meat is NOT a flat sandwich, which is why we go to them instead of subway. You guys DEF screwed up with me and being a weekly customer, I will be glad to choose elsewhere now that I have had my time wasted and called a liar and refused money back for not receiving what I...
