From the moment I walked in, I knew it was going to be a less than satisfying experience. Hostess was no where to be found. An associate who was taking take out orders over the phone apologized for the wait. She tried radioing for assistance multiple times but no one answered.
The hostess makes an appearance after a few minutes. She didn't have her walkie on her.... I guess she was on break. The hostess visibly was in a crappy mood. No "hello, how you doing, sorry for the wait", just a "I'll seat you" that's it.
I was sat at a corner booth that wasn't fully cleaned. It took a total of 7 minutes for my server to acknowledge me....that's an eternity in the restaurant industry.
My server had an upbeat party demeanor trying his best to keep his tables in good spirits but I honestly think he hates this place lol...
This restaurant reminds me of the diners you see in movies where the family is on a road trip and their ride suddenly breaks in the middle of nowhere. The family is towed to a local shop of a creepy tiny rural town that is barely alive. The family is starving but don't want to stay a second longer in this town than they have to. The family reluctantly goes to the local diner which is dark, dreary, and miserable inside.
Yup, that's this place and no amount of TV's,sports memorabilia, and arcade games can hide that.
Took 17 minutes for my order to arrive. I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta along with Tully's "Best chicken tenders on earth".
Food portions are huge! The Cajun chicken pasta was bland... Not seasoned at all. The chicken tenders were basic and nothing remarkable. Tully's obviously has something against seasonings.
You are much better off eating at the numerous other great restaurants...
Read moreWe went for lunch on a Thursday afternoon (during your typical rush lunch hour). We had minimal wait and had our food at our table within, not even 10 minutes after ordering. The food was great at always! The games came my 2 and 4 yr old happy until the candy claw machine ate our dollar...but oh well, sht happens. Less candy the better lol. The service was great. Our waiter had quite the mess to clean after we were thru. My 2 year old dropped her entire cup of chocolate milk, splashing it literally everywhere within 5 foot radius. Shortly 10 mins after, my 4 year old spilled my thankfully *emptied cup now full of ice cubes everywhere the chocolate milk did not go. The waiter was very accommodating and did not make us feel as little as we felt in the moment. He totally reassured us that everything was ok and that if we needed him to help with ANYTHING, to just wave him down and he will be right there! Overall, aside from my embarrassing toddler-kids lol...it was a great time, that one day will be a memory of laughter, instead of a memory filled with pure exasperation for life and humiliation lol. It's the little things in life,... I guess is what...
Read moreI had one of the worst experiences tonight at Tully’s. I was out for my birthday dinner with Ana and her 15 month old daughter. The order that Ana wanted was Buffalo Chicken Tenders (the dinner portion). She asked for two pieces to be kept on the side for her daughter. The server told us they won’t do that. I asked for the manager because I have never heard of such a thing. The manager said they could do it and not to worry. That is good customer service. However, the “owner” of the franchise said no that he will not allow it. They tried to get us to purchase a meal for a 15 month old. Are you kidding me! I have been going to that restaurant for 7 years and will NEVER walk through those doors again. We left and I had just two sips of my beer. The check was never presented and not should it have been. This owner demonstrated a manipulative and non customer centric way of doing business and that is the furthest thing from my liking when dining out. “The customer is always right … not the owner!”
What would...
