Ok listen up every one here is true inside facts about the vestal bakery.

1. do you not realize your hiring sign is up more than 10 months out of the 12 in a year. THIS SHOWS YOU ARE NOT GOOD TO WORK FOR!!!!
2. staff is mostly vestal high school kids or some which is great showing kids responsibility. The issue is the management Marry and Mark use to own the bakery and are in the process of selling it to there sun who DOES NOT GIVE TWO STONES ABOUT THE PLACE. WHY ARE YOU THERE JUSTIN
3. IT IS TALK AROUND VESTAL MARRY IS VERY MEEN TO HER WORKERS. WHICH SHE IS I NO PEOPLE WHO CURRENTLY WORK THERE.
4. Vestal bakery does not have their walk in cooler orgainized properly leaving there sauce uncovered under with the raw meat. The dishwasher makes the sauce which is just cans of tomatoe sauce and paste after dumping it in the worker has to scoop with bare hands the excess from the can. SO UNCLEAN. WORKERS ARE LEFT WITH NOT WITH ENOUGH SUPPLIES TO DO THERE JOB OWNER JUSTIN WILL NOT COME IN UNTIL CLOSING EVEN IF THEY TEXT HIM.
5. There is NO SUCH THING AS TEAM AT VESTAL BAKERY ( HELLO MAYBE THATS WHY EVERYONE KEEPS QUITING) everyone is on there own and at the end of the night if someone isn't done Justin the owner stands up front not helping waiting to leave. What is the point of this everyone is only human and can do so much.
6. people come to this restraunt all day there prices are relatively fair so why not well why is it at night the dishwasher is running around doing so much and people are standing around behind the counter ( ONCE AGAIN LACK OF TEAM WORK). Also why is the grill shut off so early at 8 pm your open until 9. LETS SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES THAT CARE ABOUT THERE EMPLOYEES AND AND SHOW WHAT REALLY MATTERS PEOPLE NOT JUST MONEY. Vestal Bakery has been a staple in Vestal, NY for decades! My family has gone there for pizza and subs and other delicious items like cookies and pastries through the years!! My grandmother has always been greeted with a smile and by first name. My grandfather loved picking up pizzas at the end of the week. We have always ordered Vestal Bakery for most family events and gatherings!! City Chicken has always been an item my father and I have bonded over, as well as getting slush puppies there as a kid! You can’t go wrong with any item from the Bakery, it’s all simply delicious. Vestal bakery has always provided outstanding service when ordering & picking up food. We are grateful to still have local family owned shops like this in our community! Vestal Bakery has always employed younger people who are in high school or college, there is always a tip jar reading “college fund” they have always valued giving job opportunities to young adults to help them succeed in their academic careers. Justin is a hard-worker, great businessman and most importantly personable with all of his customers! He is always willing to provide you with the best customer experience possible. Justin is approachable and always someone to say hello to! Great family!!

Vestal Bakery easily...

First, the service was terrible.. the woman in the baseball hat that “helped” us was wildly rude…I ordered a turkey sub and asked for mustard on the side, apparently to get a condiment on the side costs extra..ok whatever put it on the sandwich then. Can I add roast beef to the sandwich “you know that’s extra right?” Yes of course I want it anyway (I completely understand the meat isn’t going to be free) yet I was charged for it and she didn’t put it on the sandwich… I was charged $30 for a salad and a sub that had maybe 3 pieces of meat of the e whole thing (with a bag of chips and 2 drinks) for a sandwich that was not edible 2 people tried to eat it. I could have overlooked maybe the food not being great because it was an off day but for what I was charged the rude woman who helped me and the price for the food I WILL NEVER GO BACK and you shouldn’t waste your time or...
