This is my FAVORITE Sushi spot for take out and Thai Green Curry. It's the best (I would know. . . I tried them all.)
THE GOOD: Sushi is always tasty. I get the Hawaiin Salmon Roll and the Miami Tuna Roll. It's consistently fresh and delicious. I also enjoy the shrimp tempura along with the spicey crab salad for starters. I recently tried the White Fish Tempura Roll and it's tasty. The Green Thai Curry is so flavorful and spicy- plenty of healthy veggies and meat of your choice. It's a must try. The staff is a family and so sweet and attentive. My family tries to support small family operations- this tiny spot fits the bill.
THE SHAMEFUL: It's a shame the restaurant hasn't reopened after the pandemic. We miss the pleasant staff, the service and I definitely miss the all you can eat sushi bar. It's now just take out. Which is fine... but... :( There was a pricing update recently and for a bit I went missing in action because I couldn't see myself paying even more for my regular meal when the portions were made a bit smaller- however, they now have updated their pricing again and have a lower lunch menu/pricing which satisfies. I'm back! :) Hope they can bring back the Shrimp Tempura Roll on the Three-Rolls-For Menu because I miss it too. (Where'd it go? Has anyone seen where it went?)
Definitely will continue to be a weekly regular when I can because it's my...
Read morePros: Pretty good quality (and for perspective, I've had sushi at many different locations both in and outside of the U.S.), the staff is pretty polite, once you learn the menu then you can get your money's worth, decent variety of dishes, they're pretty accommodating if you want them to leave something out of a roll or off your plate
Cons: It can get really crowded and people can get kind of rowdy and ear-piercingly loud, it also gets to be a bit of a tight fit at times so don't come at busy hours if you're claustrophobic, if you don't know what to order then you could end up not getting your money's worth, most of the sushi rolls on the menu are Americanized (i.e. they feature cooked fish mayo sauces for many of them) so there's not much variety there for someone interested in more traditional raw fish rolls, they seriously need to give more love to the fish in the aquarium because I don't think anything should have to live like that (!), and while the sushi chef used to lay my orders out so that they were really beautiful when I first started going there, now the majority time it's just put on the plate without much attention to aesthetics, even when it's not busy there (which is...

I hate to give such a low rating, especially since a year ago the food was tasty, and customer service was good.
Unfortunately, maybe in the last 6 months (?) the quality of the food hasn't been on point. I had ordered twice during that possible time frame, today being the most recent.
The first time, the pad thai was overly sweet. Admittedly, I forgot to omit peanuts in my order as that's just not my cup of tea. But the peanuts was the least of the problems. I DID enjoy my first lemongrass hot and sour soup though! I've been hooked ever since.
The second time, I ordered hibachi meals. MUCH MUCH MUCH TOO SALTY!!! I've had their hibachi meals prior, and they were delicious! This time around, I couldn't finish and actually trashed the meal--and I can't STAND throwing out food! I ate the lemongrass soup afterwards bc I was still hungry. Unfortunately, my palate was confused due to the terribly salted hibachi meal, and I couldn't enjoy the soup.
I'm sad bc I really used to enjoy this restaurant. Did the chef or...
