Doc's Pizza & Steak — Restaurant in Town of Warwick

My coworker and I were in the area for work. We had brought a 2 buses full of summer camp kids to the nearby marina for boating.After we dropped off ,we stopped at Doc's for dinner, there were several places to pick from.We should have gone somewhere else. We pulled into the parking lot and instantly an aggressive man began questioning us. He told me to move the School bus and stated originally that we shouldn't have pulled in there. I had plenty of parking room.Once inside we were greated by a very sweet woman who was also our sever. She was chatty and inquisitive about why we were there and who we brought to the marina. The restaurant is a bar atmosphere,it's dated dark and small. Typical locals seated at the bar. The menu had a decent variety of dinners.I ordered the open faced steak sandwich, because our server informed me that they couldn't put the sauce on the side of the chickenparm and linguini.The portion was very small but it was very tasty. That was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Can’t even call it pizza, it was so thin we couldn’t even pick it up. It was just filled with grease and not enough crust to even call it a pizza. When my husband handed me the pizza boxes I thought they were empty. We literally had a pepperoni pizza and a supreme. The topping were so sparse there was maybe 1-2 slices of pepperoni per slice. The supreme had a sprinkling of toppings but not enough to say it was a supreme or “all aboard” as they called it. I am not real sure how anyone rated this place high. The pizza flavor was very good, but the texture likened cardboard. Thankfully we got takeout, it is dingy and dark inside. The only downside to getting take out was that we waited in the bar area for 15 minutes. we were already late to arrive beyond our 25 minute window. There was absolutely no sense of urgency and to make matters worse, my daughter had to observe a drunk local. Try a different pizza...
