James' General Store — Restaurant in Town of Wawarsing

I haven't been here yet with the new owner BUT I see hours of closure are still TOO early. Thought the new owner would bring it back to life but i guess not. I could've/should've bought it myself. Seems it's still just a fast breakfast/lunch sandwich and coffee place? Hopefully they'll realize they need to be open til 7 or 8 and have ice cream, a barrel of pickles, cold salads, etc. Be a REAL deli. This could be such a better place, not just for locals, but all the tourists too. Plus, please put up signage. It's amazing how many ppl I talk to that don't know this...

Very clean local grocery store with a deli counter and prepared foods. I had the soup and a bagel with cream cheese and it was less than $5.00 for a fresh lunch. The deli was stocked with cooked items as well as Boars Head cold cuts. The amount of choices is way too long to list.
