I grew up in Irondequoit and have always had Guida’s pizza and wings at the table from time to time. The “Dave’s special” was always one of MY go to’s as a kid/teen. I visited the shop in Irondequoit coming from Greece now. The quality and taste are better than I remember. I ordered the Dave special and my wife got Mr.B’s beef and cheddar steak sub minus the jalapeños. The pizza chef (who has helpful and friendly) warned her it was a little spicy with the jalapeños and the homemade horseradish bistro sauce. Even let us try the sauce to make sure it wasn’t to spicy before ordering it. Sauce was delicious. Not only was my sub cooked perfectly just as remembered with the crusty bread cooked just right but the Mr B’s was not greasy and dripping all over the table. The cheese was melted just right to hold all the ingredients together. ANOTHER go to if your looking for a Rochester steak sub. Both STILL absolute 5 STARS!! We ate in and were served warm homemade chips and pickles with our subs. Great touch to compliment the meal. Thanks for staying excellent after all these years...
Read moreThe service has gone severely downhill the past year.. Last summer it took them two hours to get the food to us ( pasta and chicken fingers ) and when I called, all I was told was that they were unexpectedly busy and I was given a few extra guidas bucks for the delay. Then a few weeks later, ordered a pizza . We took it inside, went back outside to finish up yard work and received a phone call saying that they think we received the wrong pizza. I went to check . Yep. They picked up the wrong pizza brought us ours, it was cold.. Today I figured we'd give them another chance and ordered again with myself going to pickup . Came home with two bags of the food we ordered, and they forgot my meal . I called them and was told that they'd deliver my meal to me . My family was almost done with their food when mine arrived cold ....

It was 35 minutes before my order was ready. This happened the last time I went in for a slice. I'm not sure why there is such a loss in time, and if it continues, they will no longer be my go-to pizza place. rjrnj1
Original review: They have slices that are equal to two slices in reality. And I always get them well done so the crust is nice and crispy. I also think they have the most plump chicken wings of any pizza place around (not including Timothy Patrick's, whose wings are massive). The staff is friendly and I love how committed they are to cleanliness. It's a great place to...
