Food was wonderful. We had a huge order for pick up. Asked the young lady several times if everything was there. She explained to me sarcastically that the kitchen is "very meticulous sir". I said great... would you mind helping us to the car please. We had about $250 of food and I had given her a nice sized tip and she refused to help us to the car. We had over 15 items. Either way, I ended up getting all the way home and they called me and said that they had forgotten a portion of my order. In a snowstorm, not going to drive back 15 miles to get some cheese sticks... but zero offer to make it right and refund me for the cheese sticks as I was assured that we had everything, not once, but a few times.
Furthermore... just so happened I ended up there two days later for lunch with a friend. We dined in and the experience was phenomenal. Food was great and service was great.
Perhaps the young lady working the front that night didn't like her job or was just overwhelmed. Not sure, but the next experience was great and we will most certainly return whenever we come to...
Read moreCan not find a better pizzaria. And it ticks me off. I was stationed in Fort Drum outside of Watertown for 3 years and when me and my guys tried out Stefano's for lunch one day we instantly fell in love with the place. We had to go at LEAST once a week. The pizza and pasta are good but I was so impressed with the garlic knots. The wings are simply awesome. They have a nice array of wing flavors and my favorite has to be the butter and garlic. It might just be because I love the saltiness and garlic herb but it was just so flavorful that the first time I ate one I was honestly shocked at how good they were. I moved home to Austin, TX and I just can't find a place that can satisfy me like Stefano's. Also, their meatball subs are the best. Can't compare. Soft and flaky bun, solid meatballs, provolone. Can't beat it. I honestly want to visit New York again for the sole purpose of...
Read moreIn a small town a decade ago there was this pizza shop that you could guarantee the big three.. great food, great service, and reasonable pricing. Fast forward to present day and much like every single other thing in the world it seems quality is no longer in the kitchens vocabulary. What remains of a once revered and "must visit" pizza shop now at best resembles a clumsy attempt to stay afloat. The pizza is reminiscent a pie you would get from your local gas station for three times the price. Wings are usually undercooked and under sauced as well but that could be just my preference(no salmonella on the side please)although what isn't up for debate is the size which are anemic looking. It's sad to say but I don't think even the euphoric rush of nostalgia and thoughts of pizza in days past can redeem the disappointingly subpar experiences ive had in my most...
