My family made reservations for my 75th birthday at Texas Roadhouse. Even with reservations we were going to have to wait at least an hour and could not be guaranteed 13 of us sitting in same area. So we canceled our reservation then drove around the shopping center and saw a Korean restaurant. It was a quiet and clean place and were pleasantly greeted right away. Since we like Korean food we asked if they could accommodate 13 people. They said the could and within a few minutes they had tables moved to accommodate all of us . The food was wonderful and so tasty especially their chicken meals and various sauces. I had the Galbi bento box because I love Galbi and Japchae. Usually we'll go to Korean Restaurant and cook our meals at our table. Not having to cook was refreshing as it gave us more time to interact and bounce around to be able to get up and talk to each other. The people who waited on us continued to treat us well and kept our food and drinks coming despite their restaurant starting to get very busy. My family and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great Korean food and service. My family now has a great place to meet for occasions. Meeting in Tracy for our family is great as the drive from San Jose and Sacramento is an even drive for our families.
By the way sorry for this long post. I was impressed with all they provided and couldn't stop raving about...
Read moreWanted to try out some korean style chicken in Tracy near the mall / bestbuy area with my daughter. The restaurant is alittle hidden but normally when it is more secluded it's normally more delicious then the rest ......normally.
Well anyways, the place is really clean and friendly and have limited seating.
The food I ordered is spicy jalapeño without bones / crispy chicken / red bean fish / duk poki. The spicey jalapeño chicken sauce was very sweet and not enough spiciness and the meat was super hard and not tender at all. The crispy chicken was OK but was cooked a little too long for the meat not being tender or juicy. The Duk poki was alittle too watery and not enough spice and lastly the fried red bean desert was not good at all, it was so oily and it tasted old oil was used and my daughter taken one bite and threw the rest away.
Would I go back to the restaurant? Probably never, are there better tasting chicken in Tracy? Of course there is and that is popeye and KFC and atleast there chicken is tender and juicy. For $70 plus tip meal I expect a certain degree of quality in the food and not a oily or dry meat chicken today and maybe I got the worse of the bunch, who knows? That is our experience of the...
Read morePretty good food, great service. We have been to a ton of Korean chicken places on both the east and west coast. We ordered the yang nyum and galbi wings. We liked the sauce on the yang nyum, which was sweet and spicy. The galbi was different than other galbi sauces we’ve had, tasted more like a hint of burnt soy sauce and wasn’t impressive but wasn’t terrible. The texture of the wings itself also was okay, not like the crispy Korean wings we’re used to. Tasted more like baked wings or ones we air fry from frozen from Costco. I’d go to BBQ Chicken instead which is also in Tracy. The girl behind the counter provided great service and answered our questions about the menu and was attentive. Good but...
