Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in Tracy

My mother doesn't really eat burgers. At some point in time when she was pregnant with me. I think all kinds of beef were taken out of her palette, the most I've gotten her to eat burger wise is in and out, but no one is trying to stand in the In-N-Out line for too long. One day my dad came home with habit. He said it was near his job and since he saw that there was one over by the house he thought that she should try it. The worst that could happen is that it was just confirming that she doesn't really like burgers anymore, I wasn't sure but I went along. I thought the food was absolutely delicious. I can't remember which burger I got but it was probably not the regular burger. I want to say it was like a deluxe sir. Maybe two patties. Whatever it was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to get it again and crazily enough. Neither can my mom! I've never wanted my life, and I'm about to hit 30, seen my mother eat any kind of burger and she not only like the burger but asked us to go back a few weeks later. Every time that I've been here or a family member has been here and come back with the food for us, the service has been magical. Magical. Mom and dad aren't exactly the most tech friendly people so they're never going to use any of the self-service machines, and though I have the app on my phone now, I normally want to talk to someone when I'm ordering because my mom and dad have some specific things that they like done to their burgers. The food is always good, the customer service is always good and the restaurant is always clean. I've been inside of the store as early as 12:00 p.m. and as late as right before they close and the restaurant is always...

Chicken Sandwich, Fries & a Drink $20. Ok if it was a full marinated chicken breast that would make sense. But it was a thin soggy chicken (half-breast) sandwich that was tasteless. Everything else was ok but I asked for a side of ranch and was told that they would have to charge me. So, I can go ahead and pump myself a gallon of self-serve catchup without anyone batting an eye but you want to charge for a small side of ranch dressing. I have been a customer of Habit for over 15 years including many locations in California. This is what happens when a large company (Yum! Brands - KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell) gets involved in a smaller more personable franchise like Habit. Food & Atmosphere used to be good and pleasing but now it feels like every other fast food joint. I won't be able to visit this establishment ever again. I'm sure this is not what the founders...

Listen, listen, Linda listen! If you want some amazing food that is fast food but delicious, as well as amazing customer service, this is the place to be! I’m vegan and I got the veggie burger, green beans, sweet potato fries and cauliflower without the sauce and it was amazing. Sadly found out the onion rings have dairy but my family member early obliged! We had a party of 8 so doing the computer screen was awesome and we didn’t run off a young employee in madness with all our back and forth lol! 10/10 recommend! Side note, the manager on was incredibly patient with my family member who is not tech savvy and was not understanding email receipt that SHE opted for. So kudos to her...
