I came to this place very hungry as I had not eaten since 5 pm the day before as I was sleeping and recovering from my trip to Maui. This day was 101° outside, and they had the same sign on the door saying that the AC wasn’t working too well, which has been up for almost 2 years. I mentioned that maybe it was time to get a new AC, and the young lady who sat us down said they had just gotten one a year ago, which doesn’t make sense because you would imagine it would have a warranty with it or that they would still get a new one so that they’re customers can eat comfortably. This made me think that they probably don’t want to spend the money on the AC for their customers. It also makes me think of places I’ve seen where the cooks are sweating all over the food and wondered if their temperature in the kitchen was just as hot or hotter than it was in the restaurant. As I am older, I mentioned that I was worried about eating in a place that warm because I’ve suffered heat related conditions in the past before, which makes one more prone to them. They did seat me in front of a fan on the floor, so that was nice but I didn’t see any other fans for other customers. The service was not that great once the food was served, our waitress never came not once to ask if we needed any more refills or anything else (so I didn’t really want to tip at all bc that’s not me, but I did tip $5). I ended up drinking my daughter’s glass of water because everybody sat down to eat Including our waitress, and I felt bad getting up to ask any of them for anything, not even water. I wasn’t sure if this is a passive aggressive behavior due to my AC comment, but I hope they are more professional than that. Last comment was that my 18 y.o. and I agreed that the lemon chicken was dry. The hot n sour soup was delicious and so was the fried rice. My daughter also liked her Thai tea. We loved the tomato beef. Unsure if we’ll be back. We might give them another try. Maybe in the...

Midori Fine Asian Cuisine is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by Mama, whose incredible hospitality made us feel like honored guests. Her attentiveness, kindness, and genuine care for every customer set this place apart—she truly goes above and beyond to make the dining experience unforgettable.
And the food? Absolutely divine! Every dish arrived hot, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The Sichuan beef was perfectly tender with just the right amount of heat, while the salt and pepper ribs were crispy, savory, and addictively delicious. The Hong Kong-style noodles were a delightful balance of texture and umami, and the Sichuan garlic green beans were a perfect side—crisp, garlicky, and packed with flavor. The appetizer platter was a fantastic way to start, offering a variety of bites that showcased the kitchen’s skill, and the pork shu mai was delicate, juicy, and full of rich, savory goodness.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere and ambiance are simply lovely—warm lighting, elegant décor, and a relaxing, welcoming vibe that makes you want to linger and savor every moment. Whether you’re here for a cozy dinner, a family gathering, or a special occasion, Midori delivers impeccable service, outstanding food, and an overall experience that leaves a lasting impression.
This is hands-down one of the best Asian dining experiences I’ve had. Thank you, Mama, and the entire team at Midori for such an exceptional evening. We’ll definitely be...

My mom and I have been wanting to try Midori for awhile now. We decided to do takeout because we had our dog, and there's no outdoor seating. We ordered orange chicken, General Tso's chicken, garlic noodles, veggie fried rice, and honey walnut shrimp.
Overall, everything was so close to being really good but each had one thing that held the dish back. Except for the veggie fried rice. That was delicious and I recommend it.
The orange chicken and General Tso's chicken were dry. I guess it was made with white meat, which is healthier (considering both were battered and fried). The flavors of each sauce were tasty and the texture of the batter was good. They had a crispy bite to them. But I couldn't get past the dryness of the meat. The garlic noodles were perfectly al dente. Despite the visual amount of garlic in it, it didn't seem garlicky enough for me. Also, some of the garlic was burnt so there were parts that were too bitter. The honey walnut shrimp was okay. I know seafood is expensive, but an $18 dish for 10 pieces of shrimp is hard to get past. What I did like about it the shrimp was that the batter was light, which is what it should be. The kewpie Mayo is rich, and so the light batter was a good balance.
The woman who took our order was very welcoming and nice! She said our order was going to take 20mins, and she was exactly right.
I would like to dine in one day, perhaps for lunch when they have specials. I think this place is worth giving a try if you've never...
