While I might have been ravenous, I was searching food close by and I came across here. Having had lived with housemates that represented Africa (Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia and Uganda) I had a fair understanding of their food so when the food arrived I was sure nothing was out of the ordinary. The food was fresh, hot and yummy. It was a nice spread that ideally on my diet two of me should be eating the same portion but I kept chomping on and on till nothing was left except tissues and debris. I really enjoyed it and I don't know how many times I thanked the owner... I think I was overcame with foodgasm. A plate of rice, noodles, fish, chicken and curry with salad cost like $20 but was worth the finger licking good experience.

I wish I could give this place 10 ⭐!!! 1st they are welcoming. Atmosphere is nice and clean. Good music🎼🎶🎵. Definitely wouldn't mind eating there. Picture menu of some food serviced. Especially for someone such as myself who enjoys eating African Food. But don't know exactly how to pronounce the meals. Prices are modest and you get enough to enjoy 😋. Freshness you can actually taste. I plan to return, saw a couple of dishes I want to try. Btw.... I order potato greens and rice 🍚.😋😋😋

I found this spot near my Airbnb and decided to try the peanut soup with fufu after seeing it on TikTok. I’m a foodie and love exploring new dishes and cultures, so I was excited. The soup was flavorful with tender meat, but there was a lot of oil on top, which was disappointing, especially for $20. Also, heads up—it's spicy! If you’re not into spicy food, skip it. Overall, the meal was decent, but I probably wouldn’t order it again due to the oiliness.

I read the reviews before coming here and decided to take a chance. How bad can it be? Right? BIG MISTAKE!!!! Potato greens are DISGUSTING. The best way I can describe it is it being equivalent to opening a Store-bought can of spinach and throwing some two day old leftover chicken in it. Zero flavor! It was so bad I threw it away. I was told when I called it had turkey as well, but mine didn't have any. The prices are high but the quality of food DOESNT match. I definitely won't be returning. Anyone reading this looking for really good potato greens I suggest Precious Kitchen. it's probably less than 2 miles from this place. It's in a sketchy neighborhood, but well worth it. Just call ahead. A million times better, Flavorful, and much cheaper. To sum it up, Take this as a warning..... Save yourself $20 and go somewhere else. THIS AINT IT! I promise you! P.S I think some of these reviews are from friends and family, there is no way this food is 5-star...

I had been craving African cuisine for a while when I found this place. I saw it was new so I decided to give them a try. I was immediately greeted as I walked in, I asked many questions and given recommendation of dishes as I wanted to try something new. I placed my order and was told it would be about 15 minutes or so, I did not mind at all because that is what I expect when it is made from scratch. I continued to talk with the young lady about others dishes and knew I would be back! I got my food, went home and OMG it was delicious! Peanut soup w/goat and side of fufu, okra stew w/beef came with banku, everything was very flavorful perfectly seasoned. I pray this restaurant makes it because it was a breath of fresh air to be greeted with great customer service and fed delicious food in this city!! You guys have a returning...
