ANYTHING BUT FRIENDLY- If I could give this place a zero, I would. Based on ratings I travelled 20 minutes to check this place out. I ordered an appetizer and 2 meals to go. After 45 minutes of waiting, I asked where my food was and the lady at the register said that my food was not made and wasn’t coming soon. When I asked why she said she doesn’t know why chef didn’t cook it and she has nothing to do with it and offered no apologies. Then the cook came out carrying food for people that arrived after me- when I tried to ask him what’s going on, he hurried past me and blew me off saying “I am only cook”. I had to get my money back with no apology and they were annoyed that I was upset with them. They were rude, unprofessional and indifferent about losing my business. When I told her I would never return, the lady at the counter said good. So if you want to waste your time and be insulted for no food, go ahead and try this place out. I will be telling everyone I know to...
Read moreI work in the area and would come here often with some of my co-workers for lunch. We were really so excited to find out about a Vietnamese Pho restaurant so close to us however, on 2 separate occasions there was a hair in someone's food. The first time it was brushed off as an accident. Though, the second time put it over the edge for us. Its really a shame because we loved the pho and the vermicelli dishes, but I can't stomach going there anymore. I gave it 2 stars because the food was flavorful, price was very well worth it, and the service was great. The little lady that owns it is very sweet, but unfortunately they have lost our business due to the hair. I read other reviews and didn't seem to see anyone else saying the same so maybe we were just the unlucky ones twice. If you are in the area, and that isn't something that bothers you then definitely try it out because the food...
Read moreMy daughter loves pho and can get it everywhere except her home area (Hamilton) so she was thrilled to discover this little noodle shop. My husband and I agreed to try it with her. It is a small place right across the street from Capital Health Hospital in Trenton. We parked in a lot across the street and went in. As I said, not much to look at but the food was terrific! We each had a different noodle bowl (mine was steak and brisket) that came with basil, lime, jalapenos, and bean sprouts. The large bowl is indeed large - I had a hard time finishing it. Order the small bowl if you are not too hungry. We also had a spring roll appetizer before our food came that was very good and very meaty. I am anticipating going back for the shrimp pho! The prices were reasonable too - my daughter paid double for the same size...
