Better Mornings bagels and more ( was Trenton bagel and deli) — Restaurant in Trenton

I hv ordered French Toast from here 2 times prior and watched him make it from start to finish (dipping in then batter the etc). It was heavy warm/hot by the time i walked to my office. It was good & fresh. This time I ordered French Toast bf arriving 5 minutes to pick it up today. I'm a french toast queen!! As it was being made I could tell that it was not homemade (dipped in the batter) by the way it was frying. I asked the cashier if they were frozen then put on the skillet? Her answer, was No. I knew that she was lying. I paid for it anyway knowing that it would be my last time ordering French toast from this place. It was very light and was almost cold by the time I walked 3 mins back to my office. If it were home made, it would hv retained heat (still be warm/hot) & would be heavier. I FORGOT to mention they forgot to put syrup in the bag. Luckily I had a few spare containers at my desk. I would have given a NEGATIVE ZERO as a rating, but Yelp doesn't hv this feature. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👋🏼👋🏼 This is why I like to watch from start to finish. YOU MUST BE CONSISTENT!! Right... First off, I've been eating a sausage egg and cheese on a toasted everything bagel every single day for breakfast since 2005. I've had Bagels in all four corners of this country and I can tell you this is what a bagel is supposed to be. Made fresh daily, crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and again so fresh left out the bagel will go hard in less than a day. As for the other products only the best. All meats and cheeses are Boar's Head top of the line. And the service? I've been eating there since the day they opened and there some of the kindest small business owners I've ever met. Last but not least the pricing is absolutely affordable for the quality food and ingredients you will eat at Trenton Bagel Shop & Deli. No doubt because of the Trenton location. Though being 1 door down from the Justice Complex you couldn't be in a safer Trenton location. I think they could operate in Princeton and...

I really used to love this place, after they reopened from the pandemic they now have a new cook and she's very nice but not the best cook. She never fully toast anything just warm it up. The coleslaw used to be amazing better KFC, now it has to much mayo, to much pepper and almost no sweetness. When you tell the new cook that she has messed up she gets defensive. bacon is never warm if you dont want it to crispy because they pre cook it. Also make sure you repeat your order and its repeated back to you. Beside it all they have a nice selection, food can be very tasty, and the employees are very warm...
