Every now and again we try it here ..because it's location and waterfront make it a hopeful. It has a great layout. Generally not enough reason to return often, and always expecting it to have needs,,but this last really makes it a "never again". Didn't expect much, and that would have been OK...compared to...

Dirty..almost filthy, even spider webs at the table and a floor that obviously hasn't seen a broom in a long time. (Using the broom on the table first could make it sticky enough to really gather stuff up!)

Not busy at 5+ish on Saturday...with a table available at the few waterfront outside ones, we even chose to stay inside at the windowed room...we the only ones.

Server came fairly quickly, and was evidently a one thing at a time type. Water. Then return for drink order, then drinks came one at a time. Then return for order... But certainly nice, trying and caring.

She advised (sort of apologetically) my drink...a basic vodka tonic with a draw of peach schnapps required I be charged for 2... ,(apparently mixed drinks are ala cart for ingredients). I agreed and since they do that, said make the schnapps a side shot...and I'll mix it in myself. I was surprised that the side glass was...if a half jigger I'd be surprised! In a plastic cup...which for (an inside seat and) almost $20 drink is below standard. On the other hand, the plastic cup(s) are clean.

We then waited till coming for our food order. Asked about the sauce on the (one a nights special) 2 otherwise similar burgers... specifically as to spicy-ness. (Medical cancer treatments make my throat very sensitive to spice.) She shrugged it off and couldn't offer much as she doesn't know what's in either sauce, except that people like it. But she knows the normal BBQ is a bit "zesty". So we took the special one - with standard fries added on

It took a full 50 minutes from order to it getting to table. We asked about it after 30, and we're told kitchen is almost done. (That was repeated in a while). The food was delivered by (I guess a kitchen runner) who didn't wait to hear (nor bring) ketchup...which after a while my wife got to flag someone down for.

Fries were cold...and apparently is cooked and either coated...or more likely just placed in same equipment with their seasoned fries till being put on a plate ...making them waaay to spicy for me. (Which almost brings me to tears and burns so much I can't taste for a while after). The burger was ok...except they forgot the fried onion component (distinguishing it from the other that has grilled ones...if they remember). Somewhere during this when almost done, someone brought us a rasher of what they called cheese and scurried off. Not sure what or why.

When waitress came to drop check, saying she knew we were in a rush (we weren't, but we didn't plan on this burger to be an hour and a half thing). I did mention the missing burger components and the spicy cold fries. She thinks they always are. We didn't see any reason to speak with a manger who she was going to tell.,..and paid the bill, (tipping well as we do anywhere), and left.

Filthy place (with no sign of anyone responsible), untrained staff (every server should be trained on what is on the menu)....and Lord knows what is happening in that kitchen...

Floor (which doesn't really show it well) and our dinning companions in pictures. (Their homey web doesn't seem to be recent...

My husband took my parents and I out for dinner on valentines day here. On this day the meals were 100$ per couple, not including any drinks, even a soda, nor tax nor tip. When we were served our appetizer of shrimp cocktail, it was literally little shrimps from a frozen freezer bag. That the server spilled and then picked them up with his hands to put them back in the cup. They had zero seasoning and some were still cold and tasted like fish. When the meals came, I was handed my plate directly from someone in the kitchen and there was no warning from him the plate was hot. It burned both my hands and I yelped and dropped the plate and he didn’t even say sorry or acknowledge it. He just turned and walked away. The meal was lamb, which I ordered medium and was served well done, which was so salty it was barely edible (And that says a lot for someone will low sodium in their blood), not to mention it was the actual size of my closed fist, 5 tiny asparagus and mashed potatoes, clearly from a BOX! The potatoes were runny and barely had any taste. I didn’t want to make a fuss at the restaurant because my parents were there and it was supposed to be a special night. But I called the next day to complain and spoke to a girl and told her everything. She assured me the potatoes were red skinned. No ma’am. As an avid potato eater I can assure they were not. Not even a single red skin in the potatoes. Why use red skin potatoes to peel them all? I asked for a manager and was told he would definitely call me back. No call. This place has some nerve charging that much for this food. 266$ for dinner for that? I’m really considering calling my credit card company to dispute since they can’t even be bothered to call back. I would have gladly paid double that amount for quality food. But this was robbery. And that’s a...

I tend to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt, but I just can't seem to do so with Cooper's anymore. I ordered here on my lunch break a few months ago, went to pick it up- the worker forgot to put my food in. After waiting an additional 30 minutes my food finally came out- in which no manager came and spoke to me or tried to make things right. I followed up with an email stating I was very disappointed in the way this was handled- in which they gave me a free meal next time I went back. I used my free meal for a caesar salad with Salmon- to say it was beyond dry would be an understatement.

Again, I tend to give the benefit of the doubt so I ordered from Coopers again yesterday- on my lunch break. (It is conveniently close to my job otherwise I probably wouldn't have). I ordered two lobster mac and cheese, one for me and one for my coworker. They tell me it will take 15 minutes. I get to the restaurant and the bartender hands me a burger... I said "Sorry this is not mine, I got two lobster mac and cheeses." She responds "Oh.. it was two??" She now proceeds to ring a second one in, and of course not telling me it will be a "few minutes" until after I paid. The bartender then continues to ignore me until I finally asked how much longer because again, I have to go back to work. Finally over 15 minutes later, and 50 minutes TOTAL after I first called- the food finally comes out. The manager knew about this mistake, and did not even try to make it right. Therefore I am done with Cooper's Riverview.

One time is a mistake, two times now- they will no longer receive mine or my coworker's business. Don't order from here or come to eat here, unless you enjoy awful service and...

Awesome old Trenton Factory on the Delaware River repurposed to a Club (Kathmandu) and now a club restaurant. Interior is restored open space Factory Retro nicely done and comfortable. Building is clearly visible from the road with plenty of parking (parking lot at time of this visit pot holes beware driving and walking) and handicap parking available. Building is handicapp accessible. Bathrooms are comfortable and clean. I was here for a Rolling Stones Tribute Band (Satisfaction) with dinner (buffet). Seating was a little unorganized. If individual tables were available for reservation, I didn't see that on the eventbrite site. The tables at the windows with the river view looked awesome but how to reserve those tables? The seats are plastic wicker weaves which are very uncomfortable. The wait staff was limited to one waitress and I needed to grab her. The bar on the other hand was well staffed for the available cash bar. The buffet was nicely down. Bread, salad, vegetables, chicken, fish and pork. Salt and pepper no where to be found. The buffet was self serve all you could eat. There was no deserts. The band Satisfaction was like actually seeing the Stones (which I have 40 years ago) and definitely would recommend catching this show. The cost of this VIP package was a Incredible deal! Less than 30.00! Thank you Cooper's Riverview! IMO Respectfully

We are from Kansas City, but were in the area for a wedding and went to Trenton to drop someone off at the train station. We decided to find a place we could have a nice sit down lunch/dinner and this turned out to be a great place. The view of the river is really nice. The staff were all very friendly. We were there during brunch, which looked good, but we decided to order off the menu after doing wedding event buffets all weekend long. There was live music- a Latin jazz guitar player who was great. We ordered: Crab dip: it was kind of a southwestern style. With some corn, cheese and nice spices. Nice and crabby and the corn chips were good. Pretzel nuggets: A nice big portion of pretzels, which were soft and delicious, but just a small cup of cheese for such a large appetizer. Crab cakes: these were enormous, crabby and delicious. I would have liked to have a little more of the sauce here as well. The fries were hot and crispy. Seafood linguine: the sauce does not really taste lobster-y to me but was very good. Nice flavor and texture. The shrimp tasted like regular boiled shrimp. The pasta was cooked well. Everything was good. If we were not traveling, I would definitely have taken my leftovers with me. Sorry- My photos lacked a little light.
