I love to stop at local coffee houses. This is not my favorite. The best thing about the Farm Stand Coffeehouse is their cute little gift area. They had reasonable prices. I did buy several things to take to some friends. I tried three of their five choices of coffee and found one that was better than the rest but just OK. Most of the burritos were already made and sitting in a heating area. I ordered the egg, cheese and sausage burrito. They made it for me because there were none in the heating area. I thought it would be fresh and delicious but I was disappointed because it included potatoes that I did not ask for, and the burrito was, I guess, fried, and too hard to eat. So I just opened it up and ate the sausage and egg with a knife and fork. Most of the tables needed attention. And the bathroom could’ve been cleaner. There were nuisance flies. Read moreIn a word, delightful. My YMCA aqua aerobics group arranged for a light diner before taking in a concert in Bar Harbor. What a treat to eat at this wonderful restaurant. Fresh veggies and perfectly spiced and sauced meats took the center stage of my plate, all in a delectable wrap. My wife wasn’t up for a wrap and the staff suggested a substitution to a bowl. It too was mighty fine. They have a nice selection of local craft beer, teas, barista coffee, treats and plenty of cool soft drinks as well.
With an attentive staff, an open seating plan in the dining area, clean and modern facilities and a first rate kitchen, this establishment is top notch and offers a great stop to grab a cuppa and a bite.
Check it out. We returned a few day later for a quick latte and breakfast sandwich on our way to Southwest Harbor and found the morning crowd enjoying this gem in Trenton,...
Read moreWe were visiting from Florida and turned in this cute place on a whim to grab coffee on a rainy day. The guys grabbed burritos to take fishing the next day. We warmed them up on a grill and they were great. Returning the next day to grab a small breakfast before we left Maine. The service was great. Get there early if you want blueberry muffins, they were out. Only downside. But we tried a pistachio muffin and damn was it good. It was light, warm, good crust and great flavor. We split the works burrito and again damn good. Great flavor and everything was cooked perfect. I’m not a coffee person, however two people in our party got coffee. They advised it was great. If you’re in the area make sure you stop by. It’s even worth a 20...
