Fratello's Pizza — Restaurant in Trenton

Ordered pizza and chicken wings last night. The pizza was great but the wings were not what we ordered. At all. Ordered again today and mentioned that my order was not right so I wanted to make sure they were ordered correctly this time. The person almost got it wrong again. I had to repeat myself multiple times about it and when I went inside to pick it up, they messed my order up again. Actually, they lost my ticket according to the person at the front counter. I had to wait for them to fix it and what they did was just add honey to the hot wings to make it right. Probably gave me someone else’s order. No one even apologized to me about it even after I mentioned their mistake from last night. I was only given attitude about it, especially when I double checked that this order was correct. She said, “Yeah, they just made it.” No apology. After that, I was very upset and asked for a discount. They grudgingly gave me a 10% discount. Right before leaving the owner gave me a sincere apology but the damage was already done. That apology came way too late in my opinion and I have decided not to come back. I've had pizza from all over the world (literally). This pizza was THE BEST pizza my husband and I have ever had! It tastes like everything is made from complete scratch down to the pizza crust and salad dressings. The husband and wife who run the restaurant were friendly and attentive. We were told the husband (who is the chef) stays up until 2 a.m. ensuring each recipe is followed perfectly down to the hundredth of an ounce. I am not surprised one bit by the amount of effort and attention to detail that goes into the food. The thin (but not too thin. Perfectly thin) crust highlights the flavor of the grain and has an almost light sourdough flavor. The myriad of cheeses on the pizza taste high quality and are bursting with flavor and there are real chunks of freshly chopped garlic. The layers of flavor are like heaven...

We almost did not stay to eat at this restaurant when we arrived because, honestly, the inside is not that nice, and the young woman who was behind the counter was not friendly either. Thankfully, another lady, Angelina, came around the corner, greeted us with a warm smile, and asked if she could help us. We decided to dine in. She was our waitress. We ordered a half supreme, half lasagna pizza and an Italian sub. Both were excellent! The sub had fresh, tasty ingredients and a side of Italian dressing.
