(original review was 5 stars it's down to 1 star in a few months šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø) 3-20-2024 Apparently now they've decided to Jack the prices up by about $5 all the way around for every meal. Classic platter for three meat used to be $25.00 three days ago now it's $30. Now I will be spending even less money here because they keep jacking the price up while shrinking the portion size.... It sucks to watch this play slide downhill so fast in real time 😄. Oh well there's always another new restaurant to take its place. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļøIf this is their business model, enjoy this place if you can because it will be closing down with such hit or miss customer service and now an unnessecary price increase and size reduction? That's a losing game fellas. It's now a WAY better deal to go eat my barbecue at famous Dave's in Taylor... 3-16-24 So I placed an order for a 3 meat platter paid for it and drove all the way home before realizing the pulled pork that was supposed to be in my 3 meat platter was not there. They had unfortunately closed at 8:00 p.m. and I didn't get home or try to open the food up until almost 8:30. I took some photos, I called and left a detailed message with a phone number. No one got back to me. I called back again after giving them a day to respond. A person who was not a manager addressed the issue over the phone and told me they could offer me a $5 credit because they thought that would be an appropriate amount for the inconvenience to myself and my wife when a third of our nearly $30 dinner was missing.... That was ment to feed us both. I expected better customer service from this place. I'm not saying I won't ever come back what I am saying is it won't be as often, I'm downgrading my review and im going to begin opening and checking all of my food containers on the counter before I leave, because when they're busy they seem forget things frequently then offer you the minimum amount of compensation they can get away with for their mistake. I even mentioned to the person I was speaking to that, no that did not seem appropriate compensation, but they offered nothing else and did not go get a manager to handle it. Very unsatisfied with that service. I almost feel like I was stolen from.its quite unpleasant to feel that way. Ended my evening unsatisfied with the small meal I had, because 1/3 of my $25 meal was missing and I was only compensated 1/5 of the price.... Recap: check your food before you leave, especially if they are the least bit busy. And if there is an issue insist on speaking to an actual manager who understands how the math on a meal works.. _________________________________ Store front by door dash is now gone. 3-14-24 _________________________________ DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!! Call the store direct. The "store front by door dash" adds 42 cents for every dollar you spend. Pre tax. Online my order came to $37 for one person. Called the store, same order $25.67.... W.T.F.... Aside from that the food is great the service is good the atmosphere is nice and I will be coming back I will just never be ordering online ever ever again! That's seriously a 42% "tax" on your order... Even Uncle Sam only takes 6%!!!.

Went here on a Saturday night, they were about two hours from closing and our Platter for Two really surprised me. Price wise was perfect with 3 sides and two beers cost us $49! St. Louis style ribs weren’t fall off the bone but they pulled away perfectly with a nice crisp bite which is how St. Louis style ribs should be cooked. The beef brisket cuts were slightly over cooked but the taste made up for that. They even had just enough char on the edges too. The chicken quarter was excellent, sauced with the skin still on and was so sticky and sweet it was exactly the way it would be at any competition. The pulled pork is the reason I’ve given 4 stars. It was a complete swing and a miss. I’ve perfected this at home in my smoker for a few years now and even at my worst it was never this bad. Dry and lacking in taste. I really don’t have much to say about it besides that. The smoked sausage was perfectly prepared and smoked perfectly! Their house sauces were very good as well. Much better than Famous_Daves, taste and price. We went home with enough left overs to have for lunch tomorrow. The waitstaff was professional and quick with a smile.

This was our first visit after having heard about it from friends for a while; went midday on a Saturday and we were definitely not disappointed. Whenever I go to a new BBQ joint I always try the brisket first, so I got a two-meat plate with brisket and smoked turkey, plus two sides (potato salad and smoked baked beans) plus garlic toast. More than enough and very satisfying; I actually did not finish the brisket, took it home and had it again the next day. Tried two of their sauces: Kansas City-style and their Original. Liked both but I preferred the KC. The Mrs had a bowl of their barley brisket vegetable soup and she was very happy with it, to the point that it might be one of her new favorites. The bowl was a very generous portion and she also had leftovers of it that she took home for lunch the next day. We shared an appetizer of cheese sticks which were tasty. Safe to say we will definitely visit again, as their menu had lots of dishes that sounded good. A co-worker who goes a lot recommends the Ultimate Mac and Cheese, so that is high on the list to try when we return.

The table we were sat at was dirty along with the bench seats. We waited a bit before a waitress came to the table. I had to ask her if we could get the cold air barreling down on our table turned down as i didnt want my meal to be cold before i could eat it all. I never imagined the food coming to the table cold but it did. We waited and waited. Our waitress seemed confused about which tables were hers. We placed our food order. It took over 20 minutes to get our food. Our beef brisket was cold and dry. The bbq sauces were very vinergary, and the bottles they were on the table felt dirty and gross. The corn fritters had powder sugar on them with a side maple syrup. The powder sugar didn't melt so that tells me they weren't hot. When I tried to cut into them they were like rubber and yep they are cold. The French fries were warm at best. The menu says creamy Cole slaw, not creamy at all. It was dry with juice laying in the bottom of the dish. The waitress took my husband's pop from the table with his straw in it to the pop station to refill it. That's a NO in my book. She didn't refill my coffee until I asked. She took my cup and dumped what little coffee that was in the cup out. Got me a clean mug and filled it. No one checked on us and no one asked how our food was.The one cook was wearing shorts while working a deep fryer and flat top. That is also a NO for me. Hot food should be served hot! We paid our 50.00 dollar bill and while leaving I couldn't believe there was a line of people waiting for a table. They dropped the ball all the way around and we won't go back. Once I got home I had to shower and change my close. I smelled like I was standing next to the...

June 22, 2017 came here for the very first time ever and wanted to use our gift card for dinner. Got there while it was pouring rain, I had to run and carry both of my kids because it was raining so hard and the hostess (younger girl with very long dark hair) busted out and laughed when my 4 year old was trying to get the rain off his face....it wasn't funny. Then she sat us, obviously didn't inform the waitress we were sat and 15 min goes by. Two other tables were sat and their waitress came over and apologized to us and said, you guys haven't been helped yet, have you?? We said no, so she said she would find out what was going on. Next thing we know, the immature dark hair hostess came over with an attitude like we were a bother to her, and asked what we wanted to drink. Then almost 10 min later, another girl brings our drinks and apologized for such a long wait, said there was miscommunication and told us She was our waitress. She was nice, polite and friendly. And it wasn't crazy packed or busy, there were no waiting lines to be seated, but it still took a very long time to get our food. When it arrived, we had to wait again for silverware thanks to the hostess not doing her job!! But the corn fritters tasted like cold pan cake balls, the mashed potatoes tasted like a very dry version of KFC instant mashed potatoes, the sweet potato fries tasted hard and raw in middle. The only thing that tasted good was the meat and Texas toast. We couldn't wait to get out of there, HOWEVER, it took another 20 min waiting to get the bill!!! For this being our first time there, how we were treated, had to wait, and the quality of the side items, I have no choice but to rate...
