This was the first time that my wife and I have been to The Local. The reason for our stop was that we were out giving blood and we usually eat afterwards. Well, we were going to try Bucks bar and grill.. closed. Then we thought we would try Paul Revere.. again closed. (On a Saturday at noon these places were closed.. seriously? Aren't you struggling from the pandemic? Shouldn't you be open on the most opportune day and time of the week? I digress.) So as we're pulling out of the parking lot of Paul Revere, we see The Local across the street. Talk about being really happy that the other two places were closed. The place was covid prepared, the waitresses wore masks and cleaned up after every visitor (not sure what dude above me was complaining about, but they were spot on when it came to cleanliness and following protocols) (He was probably mad that he couldn't pick up any chicks... again I digress) my wife ordered The Local vegan burger and i had The Local regular burger. Her burger tasted exactly like a beef burger, you couldn't tell the difference. Great smoke flavor and it was a nice size burger that completely filled her up. I had the regular Local burger medium. It was cooked to perfection and every bite was absolutely memorable. There was one hiccup during our visit though. I ordered waffle fries with my meal and received regular fries. However, the waitress realized her mistake and gave me an order of waffle fries (The waitresses were top notch!) My wife and i both left absolutely full and completely satisfied! So if you're ever in the area and you want to go to Bucks or Paul Revere, just skip the hassle and Make your way over to The Local. (Located right next to the Lexington bowling alley.) You definitely won't be disappointed. Great prices, great service and amazing food! We'll be back and we'll definition be spreading the...

So my mom and I were going on a shopping trip and we were trying to find a good local business that wasn't something like a huge fast food chain. We looked like everywhere things were closed or there menu didn't seem appetizing. I randomly found this on a Google search cause it was near when we were driving we literally turned around to go to it. So we got there and walked in and chose where ever to sit. We found a booth they were cute wooden booths but it was a little hard to sit in as a big person but I didn't care. We were served very fast the lady even gave us a new drink cause they ran out of the pop so our tasted like watered pop. But our server was super nice about it and got us another drink really fast. They had the fastest service I have ever been too because we ordered a basket of cheese fries and it was so good. They came out like 10 minutes after possibly. I understand there wasn't a lot of people there but they still didn't waste there time and I loved it. So me and my mom shared a taco pizza and I 100% agree to try it! The crust wasn't even a hard crunchy texture and the whole dough like fell apart in my mouth it was so good. I took some home and reheated it and it was still good. The toppings were good and fresh and I will absolutely be going...

I ordered lunch here today. I was told this was a great dive bar with solid food. So I wanted to give it a shot and see how it went.

I ordered a Cuban sandwich with fries, and it came out to a little more then $13. The food was very...meh. Nothing stood out in any way whatsoever.

The fries weren't thin cut, nor were they thick cut. But they were incredibly starchy. Hard to swallow actually if you tried to eat two at a time. And they had no seasoning or flavor. Some of the worst fries I've had in a long time.

The Cuban was also rather unremarkable. The pulled pork was just a glob of meat. No seasoning at all. If not for the mustard on the Cuban, I wouldn't have really tasted anything. To be fair, Wendy's has better sammiches for half the price.

I will say this, nothing was repulsive. I did eat my meal. But two hours later as I'm writing this review, I struggle to remember a single positive detail other than what the menu described it as.

Won't...

Yuck!! Everything about this place skeeved us out. My girlfriend and I came from out of town, and the options around here were slim. Absolutely regretted this decision, though. First and foremost, out cups were dirty. We ordered just a few things to share... Started with cheese curds, were hard and cold. Then we split fish and chips with waffle fries, and the chicken "drummies." When I tell you that that chicken was the most disgusting thing I've ever eaten, that would still be an understatement. They tasted like someone boiled a chicken leg, threw it in the microwave, baked it, insulted it, back in the microwave, and served it to us. It had a definitive crunch within the meat when you bit down. Not even smothering it in hot sauce helped. Our waitress was great, I hope she finds a better restaurant to work for. This place is pretty clearly two thumbs down.

Service was great and the inside is ok if you like a sports bar because that is all it is. The server I had was super nice and everything was very clean. Why I gave it two stars is the fact it was the worst pizza I have ever eaten. It might have been good if they did not put five pounds of cheese on it the crust might have been nice if they would learn to make a pizza. The dough was horribly undercooked I took it home and ended up throwing it away. Just sad. Adding an additional to this restaurant. Looked at the local paper and literally saw the worst restaurant inspection I have seen in years for a restaurant for here after reading this avoid here like the plague I attached pictures of the health inspection. If you do not want to be sick because I can guarantee you people have got sick if this is the way it is ran. Stay away from here
