I work here. The management doesn't really seem to care that much for overall kitchen cleanliness. Trash is constantly piled at back door for day shift to take out. Boxes aren't broken down and scattered everywhere. Hoods aren't cleaned regularly so grease build up gets extreme. Floors arent properly or adequately scrubbed, trash left on them. Prep table/area needs detailing badly. Lots of heavy detail cleaning is what this store needs to improve. The make table isn't properly sanitized much during the day, the walk in cooler is hardly ever cleaned properly, chicken and product is improperly pulled almost daily. The small reach in coolers around the store are not properly cleaned or detailed very often. Condiment pans are placed in walk in without items being covered and there are flies in restaurant that can contaminate anything. Products and condiments on make table arent temp checked and by mid day the ice to cool everything is melted and not replaced to proper level. Wall behind/around fryers hasn't been detailed in god know how long. Fry station is orange from the salt and not cleaned/detailed. Trash cans dont get cleaned often enough and reflects in our Steritech findings. Employees will take food from table specifically bacon from pans, without gloves, and then eat it right on the table or in the food cooking areas. Chicken is sometimes left in containers inside reach in cooler overnight when said cooler has a habit of tripping a breaker. That's contamination/time temperature abuse at its finest. Lids are left off pans for grits/gravies during breakfast. Dirty and empty produce containers are left in walk in cooler instead of being taken to sink for washing when emptied. Empty boxes of chicken juice/blood are left in walk in for day shift to clean up. The level of general kitchen knowledge most employees express is subpar. Like handwashing, when to change gloves, proper usage of cleaning chemicals, storage of mops/mop buckets. Sanitizer solution buckets are infrequently changed or left sitting overnight and rarely washed out properly. Some very major changes need to take place in this store. From hourly employees up through management.
Went by about a week ago 9/20/21 around 1045am, tried to order a chicken biscuit for breakfast and was told they wouldn't cook another piece of breakfast chicken and I would have to get the lunch fillet instead. I said that would be fine just please still put it on a biscuit. Waited close to 20 minutes and received the chicken filet on a bun instead of the biscuit I wished to get. About 2 to 3 weeks prior I stopped by for lunch and ordered 2 double cheeseburgers and a milk shake. Watched my burgers get made and then just sit in the heat lamp for about 20 minutes because management and the front counter cashier were in no hurry to pass out food. Service at this particular location is getting worse. Even knowing a handful of the employees left over from when I worked there doesnt seem to help get food made correctly or in a timely manner. Read moreWORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! After a long day of work and watching my daughters play sports we pull into the drive thru to order something quick for dinner. You could tell by the girls voice taking our order she could care less about being at work. Proved even more true when we werent even greeted when we pulled up to the window. She simply stuck her hand out for payment. After handing us our drinks were told to pull up. After waiting for a few minutes another girl comes out an doesnt even come to the car to give our food she stands at the railing holding the bag out. I ask do I really have to get out the car. NEVER says a word just keeps standing there so I get out an grab the bag! Low an behold after checking to make sure our order was correct we had not been given the extra sauces I pd for (asked and paid for 4 extra). I get out of the car AGAIN an literally have to stop traffic in the drive thru so I can walk up to the window only to have to argue with both the cashier an what looked like the manager. Read moreThe service was fast. My husband had chicken tenders and fries. I had chicken breast, mashed potatoes and biscuit. The chicken was rather dry and had very little if any salt and pepper or other seasoning. The mashed potatoes and gravy were too salty. The biscuit was good. The ice machine in the dining area wasn't working, so I requested ice from the server. She took my cup and dipped it down in the bin of ice in the back and handed back to me. I watched as she did the same for everyone that came after me. How many germs ended up in that ice? Why didn't she give me ice when she gave me the cup after we paid? Then, there weren't any condiments in the dining room. My husband had to wait in line to ask for Ketchup for his fries. OH, husband also got a fried apple pie which I tasted too. There was NO apple pieces or apple taste. Just fried dough and slightly sweet goo.
