We arrived at 6:45. We had the golf simulator rented from 7 PM to 9 PM. We arrived a bit early with anticipation of having to wait until it was our turn to use the simulator we were greeted by nobody. We sat down at the bar while waiting as time went by nobody offered to get us drinks or take our order once it got to about 6:57 PM. It was about time for us to head back to the simulator. We attempted to walk back there because nobody had said anything to us immediately, the manager on duty Started off bad attitude being disrespectful and told us to go back and sit at the bar until she cleaned the table off and was mumbling things as she walked away which we did without saying anything and then shortly after proceeded to be told that we could go back to the simulator around 7:05 pm as we went back there we get set up they send a server to come take our orders which not her fault she was polite as can be but we attempt to order drinks They denied us the opportunity to get drinks or food we asked for the manager, and the manager said that we were intoxicated due to our actions and our behavior which we had consumed zero alcohol. She then proceeded to be hateful, disrespectful and openly embarrassing everybody mind it was me, my pregnant wife, my friend and his wife , it was the worst. Iāve been treated at any establishment in a very, very long time. When we ordered the food I said go ahead and bring out the dessert first before the meal because I hadn't had tiramisu in so long and wanted to enjoy it before I got too full. She said no problem, 20 minutes go by and a different waitress brings out my salad, sans dessert, and I thought oh well not the end of the world they are busy. My husband also received a salad he didn't order with his meal she held up her hands and said, "Well you have one now." Lol. Halfway through our salads and the dessert comes out LOL and the waitress says "sorry the kitchen was SO CONFUSED that you ordered dessert first so...here it is" and I said, "well....this isn't Tiramisu" and she goes "OH IT ISN'T??" And goes back to the kitchen, then comes back and says sorry we only have TIRAMISU CHEESECAKE and I said, that's not what your menu says and she said sorry. Food comes out and husband's sandwich was cold but my pasta was good. We got the check and I made sure we weren't charged for the salad we didn't order or the dessert and we weren't. When we got to the register my husband noticed the receipt they gave him to sign had an extra 5 dollars on it NO JOKE, and he said what on Earth is going on? And the waitress said oh I didn't give you an updated receipt with the charge for the dessert. Over the past few years Joe's Pizza in Troy has gone down hill. The quality of food has stayed the same, no complaints in that department. But, the delay in delivery and responsiveness is another story. As stated, we are dedicated consumers. Always giving the benefit of the doubt. However, the past 3 times it has taken over 1.5hrs to have food delivered; only after calling to check on our food status.
The other night was our last time ordering at this location. We ordered around 5pm. By 6:30, food was still not delivered. We attempted to call - line busy. Called several more times over a 30 minute span, line busy. Then attempting to get an update on the order we reached out on social media just for an update - you never know. Nothing. So we figured there was a flaw to where our order wasn't received online. No biggie. It happens, so we let it go. But then, at 8pm we had someone ring our doorbell. It was our meal. Just shy of 3 hours after ordering. The young man delivering the food was very apologetic and kind. He, I'm sure, was just as frustrated. He deserves as massive shout out, as I'm pretty sure he was kitchen staff.
Now, we are not people who complain. We understand things are difficult right now. But this is an ongoing, disappointing, trend. A simple call saying "hey, we are running behind" would have satisfied our concerns. Unfortunately, this was our last time ordering from this location.
