My husband and I stopped here on our way home from the gym to see what Asmarina had to offer. 🤩 Upon entering the cafe, you see shelves to the left stocked with different kinds of teas, coffees, jams, pasta, and more. To the right, there's a small seating area with some chairs facing the window. I ordered the French bread sandwich 🥖 and my husband ordered the rueben sandwich. To drink, I got an Earl Grey tea and my husband got a coffee (I can't remember which kind). Lastly, we got some cucumber salad and a mini jar of strawberry and cranberry jam. The food was wonderful! The French bread was crunchy and fresh, and my husband loved his sandwich. His only critique was that he wished it had more sauce and more pickles on the side. He's a saucy guy, so this isn't a negative critique. 😉 I appreciated being given a small milk jug to add the amount of almond milk that I wanted in my tea. Most places usually guess and either add way too much or not enough.
Overall, we plan on coming here again to try more sandwiches...
Read moreI am a volunteer at the Reynolsburg Cancer Thrift shop (RCTS), next door to Rigat's, Asmarina Meat Market. I've been in her shop a number of times.
I'm usually at Asmarina, either to buy lunch or shop for a small tasteful gift. I always find something special. It's also a convenience store because she carries the basics: milk, bread, eggs, cheese etc.
Asmarina is a great place to shop. There's places to sit and have cups of coffee or your breakfast, brunch or lunch of freshly made delicious food. Meet here on your own, with a friend or for a small business meeting.
Rigat, who operates Asmarina Meat market, is such a welcoming shopkeeper and great business neighbor. She was so kind to let us hang a sign in her store window advertising a big sale Reynoldsburg Cancersale. We had at the cancer thrift shop and then on the day. Of our sale. She donated a big earn of coffee and a big box of some of the most delicious looking muffins. And pastries I've seen in...
Read moreStopped in this small cafe for lunch yesterday while running errands with my mom and aunt - neither of whom had tried Ethiopian/Eritrean food before. I live in DC, where we have great Ethiopian food, and I was really impressed with what we got at Asmarina! The veggie combo and the beef tibs bowl were both delicious and the portion sizes were very large. We also tried a lentil sambusa, which was freshly fried and one of the best I have had. Food is made to order, and they also have a variety of American-style and deli food for those looking for a more traditional breakfast or lunch. Service was very friendly, and it was great to support a family-run place. I would highly recommend Asmarina and am looking forward...
