Smash N Eatz (Reynoldsburg) — Restaurant in Truro Township

I came here after seeing a TikTok review but it was such a let down. I’ll start with the good, the food is made fresh to order and the outdoor seating looked pretty. That’s about it. The customer service sucked! It was just so bad. We didn’t even come at a busy time. The guy behind the counter just wanted to socialize and kept running off to talk to friends. He couldn’t remember our order and the food took forever to come out. We had to get lukewarm tap water in a corner next to the bar. There were bugs all over us and our food. It was so miserable and hot. It was at night and they had all the garage doors open. I wouldn’t even consider that indoor seating. There was no a/c. He forgot that we ordered for dine in and didn’t give us any utensils or a tray. It was also our first time there and he didn’t give us any direction for ordering or even greet us. We tried the smashn sauce and the white sauce, both were bad. He forgot I ordered the dirty fries and so he just poured sauce all over fries and chicken in the one container he gave me, even though i ordered them separately. I ended up throwing half of my food away. I really just wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. I couldn’t believe how bad it was. The chicken tasted good and was large. The fries without the sauce was also good but nothing else about this experience was tolerable. It was so miserable, the people that came in after us sat in...

I saw them featured on fb and wanted to try them out. I love smash burgers and will try almost any place that opens.

Service: My experience the wait was extremely long. I know they are just getting started so it’s gonna take a minute to work out service kinks. That is why I am giving a neutral 3 star review.

Food: I ordered a triple jalapeño and cheddar with dirty fries.

Burger: it was not terrible but not for me. Something about the taste of the meat was off for me. It could just be the seasoning: I can see someone who likes the seasoning rating it very high.

Fries: I do not like sweet with savory so dirty fries were not for me. The fries also appear to be seasoned frozen fries. They seasoned them but again the seasoning is not in my tastes. I just prefer fresh cut or at least give a cheese fries option.

Overall, I think people should try them first themselves. Just because the seasoning wasn’t for me does not mean others will not like it. Also support local. I will try again but they do need to allow modifications...

We tried them for the 1st time last night and all I can say is WOW!. We will definitely be going back to dine again there soon. We tried the original smash burger,jalapeño cheddar smash burger, buffalo chicken fries sweet chill chicken wings. Even had leftovers wings and fries for lychee the next day. The flavor profile was very unique and complimented the food very nicely. Their secret sauce they added to the burgers was fantastic. Food was fresh,very tasty,reasonably priced. The young woman running the register was very pleasant and helpful when qe were trying to decide which yummy dessert to take home. See...
