Bruster's Real Ice Cream — Restaurant in Truro Township

Well I'm low key mad at myself for going here. I had been wanting to try this place for awhile, so I took my kids and finally did. Wish I had just went to Grater's which is closer to me then coming here. First off you think this place is less then other ice cream spots, it's not. I only spent 2 dollars less then I would have going to Grater's, Cold Stone, or Johnson's. Which is not much of a savings to me. I bought a 3 scoop waffle bowl and paid twice for the waffle bowl and only got 2 scoops of ice cream. My son's and husband's sunday's were just ok. Which just ok, is not ok. The only one who seemed to enjoy their ice cream was my daughter. I totally hate that I waisted the calories on this. I should have read reviews first and didn't which isn't like me. I'll likely not be going back and will be deleting the app. I'd much rather collect points at Greaters and Cold Stone. Well an update on my review, after talking to my daughter and mom, who got a shake, my daughter didn't actually like her ice cream at all. Said the Oreos in her cookies and cream tasted weird. Unfortunately I had a terrible experience here on Wednesday 5/14. The guys working behind the counter seemed like they had no idea what they were doing and moved at a snails pace. The person working the register charged me for the wrong thing. I asked for a kids butterscotch sundae and got charged for a regular one and then they were out of butterscotch and ended up giving me the very little bit that was left at the bottom of the container, which was essentially nothing. When I asked if there was anymore they said no and just shrugged their shoulders and didn’t offer anything else. I ended up throwing away my 7.99 sundae they charged me for because it wasn’t worth the calories.

We’ve been wanting to try this place and we finally did. Unfortunately it was not a great experience. First I’ll say the staff was extremely nice so that’s why I gave them 2 stars. We both ordered a 3 scoop bowl. One was in a cup the other in a waffle bowl. The cost for what you get was way high. Next we only got 2 scoops instead of the 3 we ordered which really made the cost crazy high and the size of the scoops are very small. In our opinion the ice cream just tasted blah.
