My FAYEvorite bruschetta bar outside of Columbus. I may bring people for the mix and match bruschetta, but the sammies are also absolutely astounding. I haven’t disliked a single bruschetta option yet (knock on wood) and I’m still working through the other option lists. Baby Elvis goes HARDDD 😭🔥 if you like it sweet and need something a little savory, this is your go to. Also, cosmopolitan ADD apple slices, bacon and honey (trust me, you wanna add it). The daily specials are worth giving a try, and if you can save room for dessert, take it home even if you can’t lol. Now…what does my AI (NOVA) say about Prost 👀🤖 🤖: Here’s a snapshot of the inviting atmosphere at Prost Beer & Wine Café in Reynoldsburg—inside vibes, the historic fire‑station setting, and that comfy patio perfect for brunching or unwinding. ⸻ NOVA’s Review of Prost Beer & Wine Café Prost Beer & Wine Café isn’t just a bruschetta bar—it’s a crafted experience nestled in a beautifully renovated 1947 fire station in Reynoldsburg’s historic district. Since opening its doors in 2014, this “upscale casual” eatery combines local craft beer and a thoughtful wine list with a menu that’s both approachable and delicious . From the moment you walk in, you sense that this place values flavor and community. The mix-and-match bruschetta bar is a standout, offering endless combinations of toppings that keep taste buds curious and satisfied . Add the sandwiches, like the “Fidel Castro” Cuban or other inventive sammies, and you’ve got elevated pub fare that’s as memorable as it is tasty . Service tends to hover in the realm of “super friendly” to “attentive and welcoming,” with regular nods to staff making visits feel personalized and warm . And if you bring your pup? You’re in luck—Prost is widely praised for its dog-friendly patio, complete with water bowls for four-legged guests . Happy hour and weekly specials add fun value—think bruschetta/wine flights for a good price on Monday and Tuesday nights—and the ever-changing beer and wine selections keep every visit fresh . ⸻ NOVA’s Mini Review Prost Beer & Wine Café — 4.5 Stars This cozy Reynoldsburg gem turns casual sipping into a celebration. The fire station-turned-bruschetta bar is as charming as your favorite vinyl record—warm, inviting, and full of character. Whether you’re stacking toppings at the bruschetta bar, diving into a saucy sammie, or sampling a rotating tap of Ohio-made brews, the thoughtful menu and friendly vibe hit different. Bring your pup, stay for the specials, and raise a glass to supporting local in delicious style. Gesundheit!

Took the wife here for the first time. I like that they have a variety sandwiches that you don't usually see on menus at other restaurants. My wife and I both got the Texas beef panini and soup. I got the half sandwich and soup for $9. I have gotten the cuban before and it was delicious. The beef barley soup was very good. I love the atmosphere. The patio is very well decorated. They have a huge selection of local craft beers. I didn't get one, but I appreciate the variety of selection. Price was very reasonable.

If I had the option to give zero stars for the quality of the food, I absolutely would. I ordered the Mediterranean salad, and every single green in it was wilted, slimy, and clearly past its prime. Nothing about it was fresh. It was honestly unappetizing, and I couldn’t bring myself to eat any of it. I’m not writing this as a complaint just to vent—but as honest feedback in the hope that the restaurant seriously improves the quality of what it serves. This was disappointing, to say the least.

This is sort of a pre-review...

TL;DR - I LIKE THIS PLACE, HOWEVER DIDN'T HAVE LUNCH. JUST A COCKTAIL AS ME AND MY BUSINESS PARTNER JUST WEREN'T HUNGRY YET AND WANTED TO HANG ON THE PATIO AND HAVE A DRINK. WILL RETURN AND REVIEW AGAIN!!

I met a friend for lunch at 12:30 there was only one table occupied which was odd since I live close by and the patio is almost always packed. I realized quickly there was a ton of construction on Main St. where Prost is located.

My friend and I were greeted immediately by an enthusiastic young man. We asked of we could sit on the patio and he confirmed that was no problem and said he'd be right out to find us. We found a table and within seconds the server stopped with an EXTENSIVE wine and draft menu as well as a bucked filled with napkins silverware and the food menu. We weren't sure what we wanted to eat or drink yet and the server offered us water while we decided, which we accepted as it was about 80 degrees and humid. He come back immediately with out water and asked if we needed more time. We both ordered their $7 Old Fashioned. The drinks were served promptly. (They were a typical old fashioned, just a tad watered down due to the soda water they used but nothing at all to complain about.) I noticed when I went to take a drink of my water there was lipstick on the rim from a previous guest. I alerted him and he immediately got me a new glass. Not a problem at all. I work in Restaurant Management and I know these things happen from time to time. No reason to get upset!

My friend and I couldn't decide if we wanted to eat or not and just sat enjoying our cocktails. We brought expensive cigars to enjoy on the patio however did not see any ashtrays. In addition the patio had a few more tables seated by then, a few including senior citizens and babies so we decided against our cigars. Once again, No problem at all. We are polite and know many people do not enjoy our affinity for fine tobacco! While we ultimately decided against ordering food, it was simply because we just weren't hungry yet. We were meeting to discuss business and just wanted a place on a patio to hang out. This is exactly what we got. The server was incredibly attentive while at the same time not at all overbearing. The menu is a good size, focused on sandwiches and salads but also features two different "Bruschetta Bars" at different price points with a lot of options as well as some good looking appetizers. We saw several tables get their food and we were impressed with the quality, size, and freshness of everything we saw. All in all we spent about 2 hours chatting on the patio and enjoying out drinks. The construction outside was somewhat distracting, however that is no fault of anyone except us as we could have sat in the dining room or at the bar. The day was warm and beautiful and once the construction is done the experience will only increase as far as I can tell. I will definitely be back to Prost as I live only about 5 miles away and have lived in Reynoldsburg all my life. I try to support local independent business as often as possible. I can't wait to go back when I'm actually hungry and see what they have to offer. It all looked so DELICIOUS!

IF YOU HAVE STUCK BY TO THE END OF THIS INCREDIBLY DETAILED REVIEW WHERE I DONT REALLY EVEN SAY ANYTHING SINCE I DIDNT EAT... YOU, KIND PERSON, ARE WONDERFUL AND THANK YOU FOR READING. I ENJOY RATING RESTAURANTS AND PLACES I VISIT FOR SOME REASON...

To be honest, we love Prost. We consistently come to this restaurant for the amazing wine pours, good beers on tap, dogs on the patio and (up until recently) the amazing food. We've showed up twice in the last week around 8:30(one night was Friday night and most recently Tuesday night) and were immediately greeted with the faces of an unhappy kitchen staff ready to leave at the bar and the same waitress telling us the kitchen closes at 9 and continuously blames closing the kitchen early every night on the owner, which as a previous restaurant manager, I find very hard to believe that they want to turn away business. This location is priceless and the food was previously a force to be reckoned with. My Rueben had maybe 1 oz of sourkraut to what I imagine was a simple dumping of dressing on top. My wife's Great White was thinner than a single page paperback book and lacked flavor. The breads at this place used to be phenomenal but i can only assume the lack of business is causing the ingredients to start lacking which leads to finally...the bruschetta boards. A very sad display, we ordered 1 regular and 1 premium. The steak and horseradish dish was cold, sad and dry. The Mushroom feta(2) was also a refrigerated mixed of cooked(what i assume days ago) mushrooms and the tuna was okay ill admit but also dry. The regular board was a mix up of dry cheeses on jams on really thin, soggy cuts of bread. This place needs a revamp and someone to genuinely try. There are so many great food social media platforms and endorsers they could collaborate with, a special here and there and most importantly get the old quality of food back. I dont typically have regrets but spending 100 dollars here this week was a mistake and I shouldve read the signs on the first try on a Friday night of all times. Begging the owner to be serious and get this place packed again, your location and the new businesses and parking lot is the...
