Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in Truro Township

I frequent Caribou Coffee because it is located conveniently in our neighborhood, I am fairly new to the menu and how to order so I am still perfecting my drink of choice so sometimes the drink tastes similar to the taste I am looking for buy not exact...which is ok, today my husband and I stopped to pick up a beverage but it wasn't what I thought it would be. I called and spoke with Hanna/Manager, I explained that the beverage didn't taste how I thought it should, Hanna kindly asked what flavor profile I was looking for and graciously gave me tips on what to ask for when ordering, Hanna was very kind and patient, even offered to remake the beverage for us. After quite a few hours had gone by my husband and I decided to go back to Caribou to get a beverage, Hanna was there and remade the beverage for me and it was absolutely PERFECT!!!!!!! In my experience every staff member I have encountered at this location spoke with a smile, was very helpful in helping to navigate the menu and ordering process. There is a nice selection of beverage and food items. There is no inside seating but such a nice outside seating are...when Ohio weather permits. This morning I had ordered a blended white chocolate pumpkin chai, and after being asked to pull through the drive through and wait for 10 minutes for it to be made, it was completely wrong flavoring and iced. I went through again and bought another drink, a blended coffee with no whip this time, which they still didn’t listen and added whip. I understand mistakes and would have preferred for the crew to have listened in the first place rather than trying to talk about the drink itself with dairy (I just don’t like whip lol.) I requested it to be removed and was asked to pull around and wait again. Really disappointed for the amount of time it took today and money spent on both drinks, mainly the incorrect one that I had to throw away when I got home. I was so excited to see a new coffee place in the area (there are only two Caribou’s in the entire city) that I could get my morning coffee after work! The first couple of months were great with service- so great that I went multiple times a week! After some time they hired new people & the service became rushed & sloppy! I gave them chance after chance & every single time they got my order completely wrong/neglected specifics that I ordered ON THE APP so there were no confusions. Even the simplest things like substitute milk for my iced coffee or a dash of milk & sugar in my tea they rushed my order & just gave me whatever!! I just want it back to the original service; if they continue this way they won’t last against the other competitors...
