When you think about the South a few things come to mind but one for me is Peach Cobbler so me and my cousin went to The Peach Cobbler Factory over in Trussville, AL and decided to have an experience of a life time!
First of all I really enjoyed how it looked from the outside very approachable and the inside was nice bright and calming very welcoming. Staff was great as well very patient with everyone. The stores was full of people and yet orders were coming out very fast!
The Peach Cobbler itself was very good and very sweet. I really enjoyed this however my only grip was that I think they use molasses which you can probably tell from how dark it is and I'm not a big fan of molasses because it gives off a burnt flavor to me which I know most people are okay with. However they do give you a scoop of Vanilla ice cream which when paired with the cobbler you do not taste the burnt flavor at all. They even give you the scoop of ice cream topped with cinnamon sugar. The Peach Cobbler alone 8.5/10 but with the ice cream 9/10
I also got a Cinnamon Roll and yall this was hands down the best Cinnamon Roll I have ever had. It was soft and the icing was legit perfect I really can't even explain it. Like you know how something is just so good you have to stop eating and then just laugh? Well that was literally me. I honestly can't say anything else but simply 10/10!
The whole experience was great. I highly recommend you come here and this is coming from someone who doesn't really care for eating sweets. This place should be flooded with people day and night. They also have brownies, cookies, churros, and a few other things I plan to go back and try.
Side note: sorry for dark pictures it was dark outside and we tried everything in the car.
Another side note: all the cobblers come with ice cream but you can ask them to not give it to you. My cousin did because he doesn't like ice cream so they didn't give it to him. Also everything but the ice cream is served warm.
HUGE UPDATE: Awwwwww man this place is back to it's former glory. If you remember I gave this place a great review around the time it first opened. Well a few months later I randomly popped in to this place again and I was soooooooooo disappointed. The quality had gone down hill and it just seemed as though the owners had given up.
Well fast forward a few more months later and it's now under new ownership! The owners contacted me personally to come try the new menu before the grand re-opening and I was honored to do so!
Everything was so good. The Peach Cobbler was better than the last 2 times I had it. The cinnamon roll was freaking outstanding, the brownie had that crunch on the outside but that soft chew on the inside, I will say the sweet potato Cobbler was a bit lacking it needed way more sugar besides that also good.
The owners are super nice and seem like they really care about this place. They also completely renovated the place with new wall designers and a led menu board. Very welcoming and picture worthy indeed!
Get your butt's back to this place right now! It's back and stronger than ever. Oh and they have a Springville location...
Read moreSo I went to this place with a friend a couple weeks ago. First off the atmosphere was very cold and uninviting which is not the vibe you want for dessert shop. There was no one at the front to greet us and no display case to look at. We stood upfront for about 2 minutes before somoeone came out to take our order. That wasn't a big deal because we were trying to figure out what we wanted anyway. The cashier was not rude but very short with us. We ended up ordering 2 milkshakes which came out to be $20 total. She went to the back which you can't see because it's just a door and they covered the little window with a piece of paper that had a smiley face drawn on it lol. It was an odd experience because at any bakery, coffee shop, or ice cream parlor you get to watch your food being prepared. Anyway it took 10 minutes for our milks shakes to be made. Thank goodness it wasn't busy. While we waited 2 more people came in and waited about 3 minutes before they left without being served. Finally the cashier comes out with our milkshakes and we leave. We get in the car take our first sip and omg it was the best d-word milkshake I have ever had. I got the cheesecake one and I wasn't aware that the milkshakes were banna pudding "infused" and I hate bananas but it worked in this and I really enjoyed it. If they invest in a display case and work on their people skills I'd for sure...

However, we wanted to sit and try it first before we left because we were eager to share what we had all got. The cashier came up to us and asked us to leave because we ordered the items to-go. We explained that we just wanted to try it first and then go but they asked us to leave instead. The cashier explained she had been getting in trouble all day for people staying after to-go orders. We ended up getting the manager and she explained that they donât want people getting to-go and then wasting a bag and killing a tree by staying. I explained to her that we knew we werenât going to be able to finish them, we just wanted to have a bite or two before going home to try them out. We would have needed the bag either way. We ended up still having to leave. There was an open table behind us and no one waiting for a table either. I would understand if they were busy with the limited seating, but that wasnât the case. It is a bit ridiculous and I donât really agree with how they handled the situation. The food was also subpar, especially for the price. I canât say I can...
