Update: The store never responded back to the email I sent and I added photos showing the wood bug holes in the legs and back of the chairs. I went to Ashley thinking I would quality and did not get even close.
Very disappointed. Spent $2000 for a kitchen table and coffee table. After taking 2 months to get in stock, I drove an hour to pick up to find out it was not assembled. Who sales a table not put together? I open the first box only to find it was damaged also. The store attempted to refuse the return. YES they REFUSED the return! Customer service actually told me I was just out the full amount because I didn't open the box within 24 hours and "we are covered, you signed a receipt so yeah, it's your fault you're out". It was not until I informed the manager forest, that the consumer protection act will protect me from paying for it if I drop it back off to them that they finally agreed to come pick it up ... With a charge! Fine, $200 dollar lesson but better$200 then the $10,000 I had budgeted for the furniture in the house. Be very careful if you try to do business with this store. It was a VERY DISAPPOINTING experience. I have not opened the other boxes because I was so disappointed with the experience so far. I don't even want to deal with it anymore. Worst customer service experience ever, could have been fixed with a replacement and offering to come assemble furniture. (Hell, I would gladly pay for assembly if they had offered it... I was told they only have delivery) so now I'm paying for"delivery" for them to pick it up because it's crap merchandise. Such a horrible experience when there is a problem. Do NOT shop here if you want QUALITY merchandise or people that stand behind their products because I am getting NO help from these people. Guess you only get a response of you give a "five star review"... Just proves my point, they don't care! The federal “Cooling-Off Rule” gives buyers three days to cancel...
Read moreWe bought a sectional. It wasn't broken, but some of the cushions felt worn down already, and some of the cushions for your back were not totally filled. Most of the back cushions of our sectional had empty corners. BEWARE. Dealing with their support department was a bad experience. I reported these things and they ordered cushions and scheduled a tech to come. The earliest was while we were on vacation so we had a relative meet him at our house. When we came home, we found a corner seat cushion where a center seat cushion should have been and not all of the back cushions had been corrected. I reported this in order to get a tech out again. They disagreed on the phone saying their notes say the job was done correctly. They sent the center seat cushion and more filling for the back cushions. They scheduled a time with my husband, and he planned to leave work early to meet them. The day before the appointment, they called and told my husband that they moved his appointment up 2 hours due adding more appointments to the tech's log and rerouting his day. My husband told the rep he couldn't get off that early. She told him that if he didn't accept it she would mark that he was refusing their assistance. The next Monday, my husband received another call about the cushions. Turns out they transferred his ticket to an outside party that they contract. This lady said they only gave her notes on the original visit. She said they are not part of Ashley and do not move appointments around to suit themselves. My husband got a better impression from her. If they do the job correctly like I'm thinking they will, I'll get their name and leave a good review under...
Read moreMy husband and I visited recently & was greeted by Donna. Although, Donna was very timid & sweet at first, as things progressed, she began making things very awkward. She made what initially seemed like- sweet/innocent comments. For example, she said we both looked young, and beautiful. She talked about her husband, her grown kids & her two dogs. When I stepped away from them to use the bathroom, she apparently had stumbled when trying to get a price for us on a painting. She made the comment to my husband how she wasn’t high, she was just old. “She doesn’t do that kind of thing” We thought that was kind of random. But, assuming she made that comment because we both treat our pain using medicinal marijuana (which might I add, is legal, Donna) that was very unprofessional behavior. She “stalked” us through the store and made sure we knew her boss said she had to stay within 20 feet of us. The whole entire time we were there, Donna was there. I felt I had to whisper to talk with my husband or send her to look at delivery prices so that we could have a more private conversation. I would’ve given less stars, but I don’t think the entire store deserves a bad rating for one very unprofessional salesperson. 0/10 do not...
