We stopped in a few nights ago to try out their food at our newest local Mexican restaurant.

Loved the refreshed look inside & out and found the staff very welcoming. We were seated quickly after entering and chips were quickly brought to our table along with two types of salsa and a bean-style dip. There wasn't much heat to eith salsa and woukd have enjoyed more bite to at least one. There wasn't any hot sauce at table to bump it up so I'd be nice if the put some out.

I ordered the two poblano peppers "stuffed" with ground meat and that came with beans & rice on the side. My hubby ordered the carne asada platter. I enjoyed my peppers (which were not battered as I've had elsewhere which was a nice change and allowed the pepper to be the star). The sauce on top was tasty but felt the meat filling could benefit from a bit more seasoning. My hubby while he enjoyed the flavor of the carne and the pickled jalapeños, the meat was really tough and he even had trouble cutting it. The flour tortillas were a bit tough suprisingly as you generally don't expect that. Overall, the food was good but could use a few tweaks to help...

We have dined at the Spartanburg location. Excited to see their new location in Tryon closer to home. We are early lunch eaters so arrived when doors opened at 11 AM on a Saturday. Hospitable greeting and seated promptly. Menu extensive. Iced Tea perfect, not too strong and LOVE their small cubed ice. Ordered Dinner Chicken Fajita for 1. Always adequate for the 2 of us with extra to take home. The Chicken Fajita was DELICIOUS! So many times it can taste alittle flat depending on where you dine out. This was delicious. I appreciated the smaller cuts of chicken mixed with onions and bell peppers. I feel when the chicken is less thick it “chars” more easily. We also ordered 1 cheese enchilada and both the fajita order and the enchilada came with the customary beans and rice. Chips and red salsa and a bean tasting salsa were complimentary. Our server checked on us periodically to refill our tea. Very satisfied with this first time visit and definately will return again. Now that this location is so close to our house, I foresee a lot of...

Great restaurant. Very bright and clean inside. Lots of employees moving around staying very active serving customers... very friendly and professional.

When you first sit down you're given chips and salsa. All 4 of the salsas were great. The main entrees, however, are where they dip a little. I found my entree to be very bad. It was drowning in a cheap tasty overly salty cheese sauce. I couldn't tell what tasted so bad about it, then I tried my wife's chicken to see if hers was better. It was not. It was terrible. So I think that's where the main problem lay. Not sure if the chicken had been out too long or what, but I simply couldn't keep eating it. Yes, still giving an overall 4 star rating, because most of the experience was great, just not the entrees. And it could have just been an off couple of pieces of chicken. I understand these things can happen in the food business. I could see myself returning, but I will for sure choose a...
