Updated 12/23 I reached out to the owner, he assured me that he would make it right. He asked to inform him of the staff working in order to retrain staff as needed. He attention to the seriousness of the situation has reassured me this should not happen again. I will give them another chance in the future.... Original 12/22 I had a pleasant meal this past week, however my dessert experience ruined the experience. I enjoyed a gyro and chicken with my son, who got a free cookie. When I ordered my rice pudding, I got it home to realize it soured. When I took it back they told me the pudding made two-weeks earlier was still fresh (12/5 was on the package). They said that the date was not the sell by but when it was made. I was then informed I couldn't get a refund, but had to pick another dessert. We were met by the owner and his staff as we entered. Very simple decor and we felt right at home from the onset. We had little sample cups of the avgolemoso soup the Edo brought us. The lemon in it took it to the next level. I could have had just a big bowl of that and been satisfied. We ordered the baked meatballs with their house-made marinara, topped with mozzarella and feta, served with warm pita triangles. Omgoodness.....the sauce alone was the star of the dish. Nancy had the greek pikilia platter #1 and I had their gyro bowl with lamb. Both were outstanding with leftovers for a meal tomorrow. Desserts were hard to choose from. Had the galaltombouriko, a rolled phyllo dough stuffed with custard cream, heated warm and topped with cinnamon and sugar. An amazing meal with outstanding service . Ordered my father lamb Gyro for lunch and myself chicken Gyro (they had it on lunch special) then for addtl 2$ I got French fries and my father sweet iced tea. The waitress /hostess made sure she got my daddy's sweet tea to sio on while we waited for our to go order and even told me to make sure I got him more tea when i picked up our food!! Who does that anymore? 😁. In about 15 mins our order was ready and they were busy! The entire staff seemed to know my name and the way they interacted with me made me feel like they were comfortable and had known me forever. All that food was LESS THAN 20$!!!
