REVIEW UPDATE W/ PICTURES: When you pay over $20 for a mid-size pie, there is a level of expectation that it will have an adequate amount of sauce and cheese. I have always enjoyed Antico pizza at the other flagship locations, but the Tucker location is disappointing. I ate a few slices due to my lunchtime hunger, but was not at all satisfied with my pie...the pictures speak for itself.
This pizza is far too expensive not to have a consistent product. I reached out to the manager, and he said he made the pizza and it adhered to Antico's standards. He also mentioned that it depends on who's making the pizza but the pizza he made was standard. I can guarantee this location won't survive with an inconsistent product that skimps on toppings AND is already pricey.
PAST REVIEW W/ PICTURES FOR COMPARISON. THESE TWO PIES LOOK VERY DIFFERENT. CAN YOU GUESS WHICH ONE I COMPLAINED ABOUT?
A pleasant surprise to learn that my favorite pizza place is minutes away in tucker. Antico is the best pizza by far in Georgia. This location has ample parking with indoor and outdoor seating.
As for the pizza. It taste very similar to the other locations but it does look like the pie was slightly smaller. I also tried the hazelnut cake which was good but the portion was very small for the price of $7.50.
All in all, this is a great addition to Tucker but I had to deduct a star because this is an expensive pizza so any deviation from the original locations will be noticeable to those who are a fan of the Antico style pizza.
Recommendation: The model may need tweaking e.g. less expensive personal pies. Also, this location should offer an elevated dining experience: candles on tables, live music in the form of a piano player or guitarist playing...

The Margherita pizza, a timeless classic, is a true masterpiece at Antico. Every bite is a symphony of fresh ingredients, from the vibrant tomatoes to the fragrant basil, perfectly complemented by the heavenly mozzarella. It's a flavor combination that never fails to transport us to pizza perfection.
What sets Antico apart is its unwavering commitment to quality. Each visit is a testament to their dedication to crafting pizzas that are not just good but exceptional. The crust is impeccably thin and crispy, providing the ideal canvas for the delectable toppings.
One of the most impressive aspects of Antico is the reasonable pricing. In a world where great food sometimes comes with a hefty price tag, Antico manages to strike the perfect balance between quality and affordability. It's refreshing to find a place where you can savor gourmet pizza without breaking the bank.
My wife and I have made Antico a regular part of our dining repertoire. It's not just a pizza place for us; it's a culinary experience we look forward to. The ambiance is cozy, the service is friendly, and the consistent excellence in every pizza reaffirms our choice to keep coming back.

Read moreAntico was an interesting pizza place. The people were super awesome and friendly, so that made this experience go better than it would otherwise.
As we were standing at the register, looking at the menu, the very nice cashier asked if it was our first visit. It was, so he offered help with explaining some of the ingredients. That was very helpful!
Unfortunately, it's not a restaurant that offers ANY additions, deletions, or changes to the pre-defined pizzas.. even in the case of allergies. So, I wasn't able to order a certain pizza without the roma tomato slices. I was told no changes are allowed.
There's also no size choices for the pizzas. They're 16 inches. So, good for 2ish people. The ingredients seem to be top quality, but it came across more like a reheated pizza than a fresh baked brand new pizza!
Me and my adult child and I agreed that the Tiramisu we ordered was the best thing about the meal. They also got a side of meatballs that they liked a lot. My child says if they go back, they'll stick with meatballs and dessert.
The pizza was okay, but the crust was kind of tough and chewy. Everything is apparently prepared ahead of time. Therefore, there's no modifications, and it's not stellar pizza.
We both agreed we wouldn't refuse to go there if someone invited us and wanted to go to Antico Pizza, but neither would we seek to go there on our own.
We also agreed it's an average-ish restaurant. It's kind of interesting that they're a pizza place, but the other offerings on the menu rank higher than the pizza!
We were hoping to discover a great pizza place nearby.. the search...
