Chamoy's Restaurant — Restaurant in Tucker

I tried to pick up a DoorDash order here and the staff flat out refused to help me. I didn’t have an attitude or anything so I don’t know what was wrong. I guess they thought that I would get an attitude or something and I didn’t. I had to call DoorDash and have them call them and they tried to say that they couldn’t speak to me because I was on the phone, but I asked them repeatedly. I’m unsure of what the problem is/was but it was so unfair. They also said that they accidentally handed the order to another Dasher. I decided to wait it out and make them do the right thing because sometimes you have to rise above certain behaviors to get ahead of people who act unethically like this in life. Beware of this restaurant. DoorDash has saved many of the restaurants/businesses who now gaslight Dashers when they do not want to deal with DoorDash orders. While doing this, the customers who use to be in house patrons suffer while I sit right here and watch them...

Friday spent at @chamoysrestaurantatl in Tucker was so freaking amazing!! Chamoy's is a restaurant serving traditional Dominican 🇩🇴 food.

Fresh mango fresca ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Soursop Fresca

Everything here was absolutely amazing!! And these fresh fruit frescas tasted like they squeezed and juiced these in house. So amazing and so refreshing!!

I've been in several times before, literally four times in the past couple weeks. I've always been treated with a mild indifference which I assume is because I'm white and hardly speak Spanish. Seeing the other negative reviews here apparently it's seems more legitimate than an assumption. I went in today for food for me and my boss. They made my plate of chicken and rice and the lady who was nice told the cashier that I also needed three tacos. The cashier looked at me with annoyance and continued to serve other people. I patiently waited for thirty minutes as they gave my food to someone else until there was no one left in line and I was still waiting.
