My waitress was sweet. However, this place is overpriced and scam. They charging overpriced food, knowing good and well most of the supplies came from Walmart, piggly wiggly, and/or food depot. I found them on Google. I then checked the website, food looked good. I was sent a coupon, so i decided to go that day. I ask about the coupon, i was told it expired. How, i just recieved it less that 3 hours ago. They say that is old and supposed to be taken down. How is this my problem? But, okay. The menu is limited and overpriced. Tacos with cabbage and rice is 16 dollars. With Walmart bought tortillas. The DJ kept blowing the speaker. One time is an accident, repeatedly, just turn it off or continue to bust our eardrums. Lastly, we had a party of three and 20% gratuity was automatically added. This was no big deal, but I wasn't told. I had to figure it out. Also, i wasn't given a ticket. I had to ask for one. Overall, the food was okay, but no where near worth the cost. I was wondering why, it was so empty on a Saturday night. This place is definitely a one and done.
Good luck with your current...
Read moreThis is a very dishonest establishment.
When we asked for our check, the server brought a point-of-sale machine with our total on it, but there was no breakdown of cost. We had to ask for an actual physical check of our meal. This was the first red flag.
At no point, did the server let us know that the prices on the menu had changed. It was when we reviewed our check that we realized the prices on the menu were vastly different from the price we were charged. When we asked, the manager said there is a fine print on the menu that says prices are subject to change.
There was also a 20% automatic gratuity that we wouldn’t have figured if we didn’t ask for the physical check.
I understand there is inflation, but there is literally a review from 3 months ago complaining about this same thing. A restaurant that doesn’t even care to update its menu prices after 3 months is not worth your time. I mean, that’s literally the bare minimum. What else are they...
Read moreMe and my husband was on a date and we came here to eat because I wanted some African cuisine. We both ordered the Jollof Rice with beef. Good portions, great food, and great prices. We didn’t even have to wait long for our food. We didn’t order an alcoholic beverage, but I did skim over the menu. Their drinks are reasonably priced. We came on a Saturday and there was a DJ playing. The music was too loud considering the number in the crowd, but it was pleasant hearing. We don’t know our waitress name because it was so hard to order over the loud music. She was very friendly and polite. This is a good place to come for the warming, vibing atmosphere, great costly food and drinks, and good music. We got a chance to meet the Manager and he was very welcoming. We will definitely be back. A good date night spot, after work hours spot, & a...
