I tried to surprise my family with an order of donuts tonight after work. I used a delivery app to place the order. I was not contacted by the store at all to notify me that they did not have donut holes. I received a box of 6 donuts like I ordered, but none of the donuts that came matched what I ordered. I ordered filled bars as well as a few rounds. I had to contact support through the app, get a refund, and reorder. A few minutes after reordering, I received a message that the donut hole order, the main part of my order, was cancelled. I was reassured that the correct donuts would arrive though, but once the box reached my doorstep, none of the correct donuts were their yet again.
If a shop doesn't have an item, I don't know why they wouldn't try to contact their customer or cancel the order. This is not something where the next closest item is ok as a filed donut is totally different from a non filled, and I didn't even get some of the chocolate bar ones. I got a seemingly random mix in a box that they thought would fool me. I really wish the restaurant contacted me or cancelled the order. I ended up paying for stuff my family wouldn't eat.
Don't shop here. The prices are ok, but clearly no one knows how to run a restaurant from a customer service perspective, nor do they know what a filled or even chocolate donut is as I got the wrong ones. Maybe it's ok if you go in person, but definitely don't order for delivery or even pickup as they will certainly get it wrong.
Local shops are much better, more affordable, and taste...
Read more🍩LOVE🍩LOVE🍩LOVE🍩LOVE🍩 LOVE 🍩 THIS PLACE!!!! I have driven by many times and noticed it. I remember reading about the grand opening. I thought "donuts are donuts". I WAS SO WRONG! It's not a just somewhere to grab a quick breakfast treat, IT'S AN EXPERIENCE! I felt like I was stepping back in time to an old fashioned mom and pop shop! THE SMELLS! THE CREATIONS! THE VARIETY! There was a tray of samples on the counter. A glazed donut is a glazed donut, right? WRONG! SO WRONG! You simply have to try it for yourself. TRUST ME ON THIS! Fillings? Who knew there were so many?! They fill your donuts while you wait. How cool is that?! Yes, I sound over the top. Yes, it's a Donut Shop. THE BEST DONUTS I'VE EVER HAD! 🍩 Why not 5+ stars, you ask? I realize that there's major expense to own and operate a small business, but the prices are out of sight! We went there with the expectation of getting 1 o 2 DOZEN 🍩 but could only afford SIX 🍩 & had to cut them in pieces and share! VERY EXPENSIVE! It's more of a designer shoppe and would do very well in a high-rent district. The location has a high population of homelessness and low income housing. Most of the people I spoke to knew of Amy's but can't afford...
Read moreAs the only donut shop any where near my house,I went to Amy's donuts to get the family some donuts cuz I woke up with a huge craving for some. I was going to put online order in for them, the website is pretty cool (could use some descriptions I think), but overall cool pictures, but we decided to go through the drive thru. The woman was very pleasant and pretty helpful with the order. She explained she was out of a few (all the ones I chose, of course) but said she would make some of them. We ordered 2 dozen,a bottle of water and a bottle of soda, the total was $43 and some change I believe. I'm sorry to say, we probably won't go back. I had an almond joy, it didn't taste like one. The cotton candy one I had replacing one I chose was ok, only thing really good about It was the cotton candy off of the top. The Bavarian cream ones we had were pretty good. The heart attack was good if you like everything on top of the donut, ( if you're a stoner it's the perfect donut,I would think). It of the 2 dozen, there was still a dozen at least left 2 days later, (krispy cremes barely make it in the door at 3 dozen and never any left last following morning with my family) sorry but pretty...
