Poor customer service and communication on two separate occasions. The drive through employee Michelle has one of the worst attitudes I’ve come across at a fast food restaurant. My first experience came when at the end of my order being placed I was advised I needed to have my coupon ready for review. Unfortunately prior to this new policy I closed out of the app and was unable to provide the coupon since it was already redeemed. Myself and my husband were denied the services of the coupon being honored. The employee Michelle was extremely rude while attempting to communicate their new policy of the coupons needing to be present at the time of services. Her body language and tone of voice while conveying the information was disrespectful to myself and husband. My second interaction with the same employee was today. I was proactive in ensuring the coupon was available for the employee to review. I took a screenshot of the coupon. I provided the coupon that was stated to me again after my order was placed when the representative so rudely said “why is the timer not counting down” I then stated to her it’s because it’s a picture. She then again with her body language being aggressive and rude stated to me that she can’t take that coupon. At this point I asked to speak with a manager. She stated to me in a passive aggressive voice that her manager is going to tell me the same thing. I insisted in speaking to the manager. The employee Michelle then slammed closed the windows to get the manager. I explained to the manager that I was told to provide the coupon and I did. I was never told nor is it posted anywhere that they only accept coupons live off the app. Long story short the manager was very helpful and heard my concerns as a customer of how the deliverance of their policy was provided poorly. He provided me with the employees name as I said to him I would be writing a poor review on the overall experience I had twice with the same employee. I suggested to him he post their requirements somewhere of proper coupon options so that all the customers after won’t run into the same experience I had. I also stated to him that I feel sorry for each customer that will have a interaction with his employee Michelle as she represents their company very poorly. My coupon was honored and I now have a clear understanding on what the requirements are to use their coupons...
Read moreBurger King holds its own in the fast food world, especially if you’re a fan of flame-grilled burgers. The signature Whopper is still a heavy hitter—big, juicy, and packed with toppings. There’s just something satisfying about that smoky char-grilled taste that gives BK an edge over the microwave vibe you get from other spots.
The menu has decent variety too—chicken sandwiches, nuggets, breakfast items, and even plant-based options like the Impossible Whopper. And when those deals hit (like 2 for $6 or the app-exclusive coupons), it’s hard to beat the value.
That said, consistency can be hit or miss. Some locations knock it out of the park with hot food and friendly service, while others struggle with slow service, cold fries, or less-than-clean dining areas. But when they’re on their game, it’s solid fast food that fills you up and doesn’t break the bank.
The mobile app is worth checking out for daily deals and quick orders. Plus, BK breakfast—especially the Croissan’wich—is surprisingly good.
All in all, Burger King is a flame-grilled favorite that’s great when you catch it fresh. Not perfect, but when it...
Read moreDid a drive thru to get a Double Whopper and fries offered for $7 on the BK app. Food was quite good! I also got an order of onion rings from the app offer section. They had a horseradish based sauce for it. I do like horseradish mustard and, sometimes, straight horseradish sauce on sandwiches, on occasion. In other words, kinda rarely. This sauce, BK gave me to try, had other ingredients in it, which hit my taste buds in exactly the wrong way. Glad I had some extra ketchup (catsup for you East Coast folks). Perhaps, the taste wasn't right because I grew up with ketchup to use with onion rings. BTW, on a trip through British Columbia, I found Canadians use mayonnaise with their French fries. These are served together at the Burger Kings up there. The store exterior was nice and tidy. The lady who took my online order and brought me the bag of food, was a very nice person with a pleasant smile and professional demeanor. At 11pm, this interaction was...
