Went Sunday for lunch with a party of 8. We joined our party, and the drinks were taken and dropped off quickly. Everything came in a whine goblet. Chips w queso and salsa were dropped off. None of those items were warm. Chips were not fresh. Not bad for complimentary. We placed our orders with ease. I was a little shocked by the prices but thought oh it'll be worth it. $19 carne asada burrito, 18 dollar beef chimi, and a 14 dollar taco plate. Food took some time, but being a family party and catching up the wait was not a problem. When the food arrived, the initial presentation was common of what you would normally see. It was when we got into our dishes that we were disappointed. My carne burro was fluffed with nothing but a very large tortilla and maybe 4 ounces of steak nothing else. The rice on my plate was obviously half the portion of everyone else. Flavor for things was good it just lacked the true carne asada flare. My wife's chimi was a boiled shredded beef w lack of anything for flavor other than beef. No sour cream, guac, or salsa was offered. Service never returned to check on us Overall, we ate everything without complaint. It was a family party, so just trying to stay positive and happy. Well bill comes, and yeah, I felt like I was robbed. Those 3 plates and a beer costed me $78. They added gratuity and many different prices on receipt. I guess if you pay cash you get a 3% discount. They also presented two others in our party different prices than what their bill showed, which led to a small argument. As stated this place cares nothing of a happy customer and is out to just grab cash. Usually I will give places a second chance but have no interest in doing so here. Srry it didn't work out and good luck with your...
Read moreWent here not too long ago with my co-workers for lunch and man was it a bad experience. We right away noticed the waiter was not happy that day, seems he was having a bad day. The waiter was very bland, like a forced on the clock duty and was not being helpful when asking questions about the menu. The food came in a decent amount of time but the rice AND beans were way too salty. Only about 2 people out of 10 were ok with how they tasted. My plate was not what I thought it would have been but by then I was already hungry and like I said the waiter was obviously in a bad mood and didn't want to deal with anything. Then to top it off, the girl at the register gave a bad handful of attitude. As we go to pay she asks "how was everything today?" And me being honest, I tell her the rice and beans were too salty for me and I did not really enjoy the plate unfortunetly and her response was "well you are the first and only to tell me that today" so I tell her well people must not wanting to speak up, but for my table there was a few of us and you asked how it was right? Then she just said "well i guess I'll just tell the cook," gave me an ugly look, took my money, and gave me my change. Could not believe it, that just topped it off for me. I've been to the valencia location about 2 times and was never treated like that or ANYWHERE else for that fact. I was going to ask for the manager right there, but there was a lot of us left to pay and we already had to go back to work, I had to let myself cool off the steam before I really made a complain on the staff there.I work for dealing with customer service and that is not how it should be at all. Leave personal problems at...
Read moreSo sad and upsetting, Little MEXICO has good food so I wanted to show it off to my Mexican parents. We get there and no one speaks Spanish in a Mexican restaurant, not the host and not the server. Let’s put that aside we were waiting 30 minutes for our food and when I politely asked the server how long it was going to take and she said there’s a party of 12 in front of you so we are serving them first. (That’s fine but I don’t think that’s the way you should speak to paying clients, and should have told us how long it was going to take.) Five minutes later I go ask the host how long it’s going to take and she rudely tells me the restaurant is busy they have a party and DoorDash orders. I (JUST WANT TO KNOW HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE TO GET MY ORDER. ) She says it will take 15 to 30 minutes to serve the party. I then tell her if it’s going to take long we would like to cancel our order. She says okay we’re going to cancel your order. I ask well how long will it take? Again she then told me they multiple orders. I walked back to the table and they were serving the party already. So our order was RIGHT UP!!! That’s crazy!
They did give us our drinks for free which is appreciated but I was very embarrassed that I talked about the great customer service and food they had and I we got was bad vibes and attitude.
It’s so hard to get my 70 year old parents out the house, so when they finally come out and we receive this type of service, it’s upsetting.
We decided to go to DELICIAS down the street! They greeted us with a BIG SMILE and spoke Spanish. Great authentic Mexican food as well!
Spanish is not necessary but good service and...
