Mariscos Chihuahua — Restaurant in Tucson

Today I order 2 orders of Toredos, which are shrimp and cheese stuffed jalapenos wrapped in bacon and they were appalling, down right disgusting. Moreover, the total for the 2 orders came to $29.00 which is crazy because on their menu they're listed for $10 each. Nonetheless, they were far from fresh, it seems like they were in the refrigerator for probably months and months and they just threw them in the fryers for 10 minutes. I almost vomited. I had to throw all of them away after my first bite. I would recommend to stay far away from this place. There is no pride in their work, especially when you pay a high price for it. Order #318719 on 7/20/25 (Takeout, 4:33 PM) I’ve been a regular customer for a long time and have always enjoyed the food here never had any issues until this recent visit. Unfortunately, when my husband and I sat down to eat our takeout order, he found long blonde hairs in his fish. It was extremely disgusting and unhygienic. He couldn’t even finish his meal. This is very disappointing and unacceptable, especially for a restaurant. All staff handling food especially those with long hair should be required to wear hairnets at all times. The waitress here chased my boyfriend to the bathroom saying they didn't have public restrooms to non customers. We wanted to wash our hands before eating and she freaked out like he was stealing something. Thank God she wasn't the waitress that served our area because she got me mad. Everytime I go that same waitress gives me some kind of trouble and I'm tired of it. I don't know why management doesn't do something about her.
